Specs:
amd 2600
ROG strix b450-i
G Skill flare X 16gb
FE 1080
Corsair RM650x
Samsung 970 evo 250gb nvme m.2

I have literally slapped it all together installed the included CD with drivers an utilities installed all updated via win 10 64bit an changed the power profile in win 10 to high performance. I has taken several to get to this point due to random freezes it stutters very bad. The temps all seem fine. I am at a total loss an frustrated any ideas? Brian

EDIT: I have no knowledge about AMD stuff in general just a heads up.

Reset the bios, install Windows 10 from scratch and do not, under any circumstances, use the included cd. Also make sure the CPU Heatsink is seated correctly.

Update the bios to latest version. Update all drivers in windows to the latest version off of manufacturer's website (not the CD).
Try a different stick of ram and also try a different graphics card. You may need to borrow from friends to do so. But you'll have to swap out parts individually and see which one is the causing the issue.
Maybe a defective piece of hardware somewhere in your build.

Also you can try a linux boot cd to see if you still have issues. (if so it likely points out to be a hardware problem.)

Do as Man of GOD said as check everything again , load defaults and make sure memory is running right voltage as 1.35v for 3200Mhz as I use Ryzen Master a lot and my 2200G is only nice at 3000Mhz with tight timings of 16-16-16-16

Also my latest Gigabyte F23 for x370 has issues as I have to start over some what , but my 1600 is Heaven at 2133Mhz 1.2v on GSKill Rip Jaw Red 2400Mhz with MSI 350B Gaming Pro

what MOG said. and dont use the drivers from the mobo site either. go to the individual part manufacturer. ie: go to intel for the chipset driver, Realtek for audio drivers etc. the ones on the mobo maker's site will always be behind. only get the bios from there.
and CC is right about the ram and timings/voltage. set them manually.

UPDATE: I have done/tried everything recommended minus switch parts around as i have no access to other parts. Everything is still acting the same. I will update as soon as i can try something new. Again thank you for all the input!

if your ram is 2x8gb take one out and see how it acts. try the high performance power profile too.

If i have ran memtest several times with zero errors is it safe to assume the ram is ok an the dimms on the mobo are good as well?

if several full passes of memtest show nothing, its good. it will be a PITA but rip it all apart and test it with just the bare minimum parts outside the case. may try another ssd/hdd with a fresh install.

When in doubt, replace motherboard ;)
I just had a gigabyte x470 ultra die on my 2600x build. Motherboard was only 3 months old, but it did give me red led error code for cpu
