Lenovo ThinkPad E480
This is the i7 8550U / RX 550 model, I upgraded the RAM, installed an SSD, and applied liquid metal thermal paste.
- Upgraded RAM to 16GB DDR4 2400 (2x8GB)
- Installed a Samsung 970 EVO 250GB
- Removed the original 500GB HDD for weight/power savings (weighs about 3.6 lbs without it)
- Sale includes original 500GB HDD which still has the factory fresh software
- Upgraded the thermal paste on CPU and GPU to Thermal Grizzly Cryonaut, noticeable improvement in fan noise and system performance
