Me too. 8/20 Ti order with 12:31p Central time receipt...#feelsbadman
 
I don't know why Paypal would induce a delay.. I had all the Paypal confirmation details within moments of when I had the Nvidia details, and the NV order was confirmed within 2 minutes of my first e-mail from them.
 
I received the same email. This launch has been a bit of a mess.
 
Just got my unexpected delay email.

My order was placed at 12:08PM central time.
 
Just got an email that my Sep 27th 2080Ti FE order shipping date has been pushed back to an unknown date.

My expected ship date was like November 22nd, so I'm not expecting it anytime soon. Guessing it will ship sometime in October since I'm sure there are a lot of cancellations.

I ordered on August 21st

I'm thinking the same thing....I ordered on Aug 20th, afternoon and the date I saw was October 7th.


Edit: Checked my email and saw a "Shipping notification" from Nvidia. I was ecstatic until I read it and was notified that my Link bridge was shipped by itself.

Just got the same email. I got my confirmation of order at 12:31 p.m. central time on the 20th.
 
Got my delay email from Newegg on my MSI Trio 2080 ti. I am sixth in line - placed order within a few minutes of it going live. My guess is the typhoons messed things up.
 
2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra from eVGA still says 3-4 weeks...

You mean a $600 1080ti with less ram and useless ray tracing.
 
Hey it's the 20th magic number I wonder anyone will get their hands on a aftermarket card.
 
So, I just wandered over to Amazon to check on cards since I preordered from there.

Something major is going on. ALL the 2080 cards are unavailable "we don't know when they will be back in stock"... ALL of the 2080 cards. No preorder. No stock. Nothing. With all the cancelations and whatnot there should be stock or backorders available.

Did they really all sell out in spite of reviews, or was the launch just canned?

Does ANYONE have an Amazon shipping confirmation on a 2080? I still don't.
 
Nvidia should of never set a placeholder date for preorders while the customer just waits in limbo.

Check your tracking number. I got the same e-mail, but UPS says it's out for delivery right now.

It's the only thing I have ordered by next day air. I ordered on the 20th about half an hour into the presentation.

Thanks. I'm guessing you ordered a bit before me, maybe 30 minutes to an hour. I've not received even an email from nVidia about a delay though. I ordered two though, the NVLink is on the way, should be here tomorrow.

For something that's overpriced and that no one should buy, it's funny how that stuff is hard to come by at times.

When was your order time? The one present on the order history on newegg.
 
I got my delay mail from Amazon for the PNY GeForce RTX 2080 TI XLR8. I ordered around 2pm before it was even listed on NowInStock.net. Odd thing is it is still listed as being delivered tomorrow the 21st by 8pm. My card hasn't been charged yet.

Amazon doesn't update anything or contact you, learned that with my ryzen preorder.

There was aa typhoon that hit Hong Kong and passed near taiwan last weekend. It disrupted shipping lanes and is my guess as to why there are delays.
 
Welp, turned out that tracking number was for something I chose 3-day priority on, but was shipped next day air for some reason... No reference number was on the shipping manifest for me to know what it was beforehand.

The shipping was officially delayed a week for the 2080 Ti though some might start shipping a few days before then. I'd love to know how many pre-orders there were for the Ti, I wouldn't be surprised is it's actually selling better than the regular 2080 even at the much higher price point.
