Amd vega 8 driver 18.51 install mod

One had a M2 SSD Installed, Another Had the 1TB HDD, Mine had the 1TB HDD. They are the same except the I/O as far as I am aware. Plus Crucials website didn't seem to the list the bq100.

I just looked mine up via the Serial Number from AIDA64 & its a

HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bq121dx

I see the 2666 ram as compatible but its going to only run at 1200mhz, via CPUz it said on the 3200mhz ram still just 1200mhz, major bummer.

Unless it could somehow boost to 2666 but I doubt it, its very unlikely anything more than 2400mhz is gonna run at above 2400mhz.
i dont see where is says that about the speed but if so its a limit of the mobo. not much you can do then.

Yeah as I linked above I think the best you can do is those lower latency 2400 Mhz modules. Even that isn't guaranteed to work.. Kind of hard to say

I saw on the HP Forums that yes 16-16-16 2400mhz works but isn't really any faster. By the way the new driver is out 18.9.1 https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/...processors-radeon-vega-graphics/amd-ryzen-5-0
I was talking about the 14-14-14 ones though I do agree that it wouldn't probably make a noticable difference (stock is 17-17-17)

Oh fun I'll probably try upgrading sometime this week. Never had major issues with recent version though my current version does not like to resume from sleep without displaying graphical glitches. A restart fixes everything though.

If you use CRU Custom Resolution app it comes with Restart64.exe that can restart the driver in realtime, just as an fyi. Also the flickering screen after sleep isn't resolved in the latest driver either.

This is when I had the Ripjaws Installed that didn't work...

So if we just use the offical drivers for our setups, everything continues to work perfect as is? Naw thats to easy, how to mod some drivers lol.....after reading this thread im keeping mine as is lol

Stability is never fun, what's reward without risk lol

Does the sleep bug exist on the OEM driver? Also we don't have ReLive with the OEM Driver, which I like to use...
