@unikrnco (aka UnikoinGold), the eSports gambling crypto masterminded by @RahulSood, is sinking to near all-time lows, in more than just value. Unikrn is being hit with a class action lawsuit alleging it violated US securities law. Have no fear however, Mr. Sood is only charging folks $1095 to hear him talk tomorrow about how Unikrn is the future of eSports betting. Just give Raul your credit card, buy up his near-worthless crypto, he will then make sure you can gamble your money away on eSports. UnikoinGold has reportedly taken in $47M in token sales and investments.

Las Vegas resident and lead plaintiff John Hastings filed the case at a court in Washington State on Aug. 13, alleging that Unikrn and its founder Rahul Sood sold unregistered securities to the public via the ICO for its blockchain-based UnikoinGold Tokens (UKG).

Seems like Mr. Hastings (the plaintiff) is a moron if he bought into the scam and now complains that it was unregistered.

How was that not painfully obvious to the most casual of observers? :(

I think we are about to see regulation come home to roost.

I made my fortune on tangible assets. Such as investment property or at times mutual funds. Some stock as well. I also had my hand in import/export in other parts of the world. Investing in Ponzi schemes such as Bitcoin only shows the abject stupidity and greed of mankind.

Only the criminal element succeeds and a few "Golden Boys" that they let happen (early on) to produce the illusion of the "average-guy-on the-street" can get rich too.

47 million

Soo if I invent stupidcoin and make a big enough fuss, would I also get people investing millions?

I'm not overly greedy, a few million would suffice. :ROFLMAO:

Wonder how many "smart" people are left making "investments" in coins with oh so flashy words

How is that steven seagal coin doing these days? Is it spreading Zen like it's being advertised?
Oh nooo, it closed down

Another ICO turning out to be a scam?

what you need to do is to first.. come up with your target market, then name the coin after that to really attract interest. Example you want to target Buddhists.. you would call it the ZenCoin or such.
