Everyone is a potential threat, arrest every single person. Walking the halls making eye contact could be profiling people to find targets.

Mob rule may suck, but at least you need to gather a mob.

A well organized system requiring the involvement of many before someone is really harmed is generally a better idea, but what we have now is a mob of bureaucrats turns off their brains and jumps all over the target of even a single idiot resulting in consequences that should not be meted out without a court being involved.

Something got broke, and it's starting to look like mob rule might actually be an improvement. We might want to take that as a warning.

I mean seriously. Look at swattings. When swat teams were created as a concept, your average police officer would have a hard time getting them rolled out anywhere. Now any chump with a phone can. That shit is broken.

I don't have a problem with it. Some would be singing a different tune if this dude did a school shooting and it wasn't reported. I'd rather see error on the caution side than have no reporting at all when there should have been, and then something bad happened.

Well...based upon the recent shooting at a video game convention I would argue that all people who play video games are a threat. Could you please go turn yourself into the police to show your solidarity to your beliefs? I mean, if we are going to error on the side of caution....lets go all in.
