ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition 11GB $529

Did the price go up? I'm only seeing it at $679?

No it was just a single third party seller. I'd be leery unless they have a lot of positive ratings since there are a lot of scammers with GPU's right now.

It was the same seller. But that guys rating is definitely a gamble.

Fairly sure this person is the same person who posted about acquiring a couples crates from Zotac during the mining craze and looks like wasn't able to sell them.

Is it true that this deal was supposedly a scam? There is a thread on Reddit about it. Good luck guys. I hope Amazon takes care of you if the seller is a troll.

We'll see tomorrow. The thread on Reddit recommended taking a video of opening (if the box arrives at the right address of course).

Looking at feedback and Reddit thread now 100% chance of scam. Escalated with Amazon for intercept with USPS to begin refund/A to Z process. Live and learn.

I bought one, because Amazon always been good with it, also they usually hold your fund till its cleared. So if not work out ill just contact amazon.

holy shit, just notice the guy feedback from last day, bit worried, but I talk to amazon, they say they have a-to-z guarantee. so if its scam, I can get my $$ back from amazon.

Good luck! I know a lot of legit Amazon sellers get burned by A to Z when less honest buyers lie, but for cases like this A to Z is a lifesaver. Hope you are pleasantly surprised and get the card!

Has anyone actually received a 1080ti from this seller? I haven’t read the reddit thread yet.

No, it was a scam. I live in NC and my "shipment" was delivered in CA today. Amazon refunded my money about 5 minutes after a I submitted the A-to-z claim. The truly devastating version of this scam is when they ship garbage to a bunk address in your zipcode but that wasn't the case this time.

Pretty infuriating, glad Amazon is taking care of people. I was *this* close to buying two of these.

I wonder amazon gonna put fraud charge on him, hopefully the police will catch him. gonna wait for my says deliver, then go talk to amazon a-to-z

Geez...a Vega 64 for $599 or a 1080-Ti for $530.....God..I love AMD, but they have got to get a handle on their GPU prices....I miss the days when they offered almost the same performance for about half the price (I'm remembering the Radeon 4870 for $300 coming darn close to the $600 GTX-280).....

The 4870 was a ground breaking card.

And the first to overload my ups and make it alarm when going into turns in NASCAR Racing 2003 :)

Where’s the Reddit thread? I searched, but didn’t find it.

Its only a scam if you actually lost money and they actually made money.

Since Amazon made everything kosher - this appears to be market research for demand pricing.
