Does anybody find it odd that there aren't any benchmarks out for these cards yet? Least I haven't seen any... I know [H] will have to wait for retail cards due to NPP BS...

No, there are never benchmarks right when they announce it.Does anybody find it odd that there aren't any benchmarks out for these cards yet? Least I haven't seen any... I know [H] will have to wait for retail cards due to NPP BS...

These are high-end and enthusiast range hardware. Midrange will be announced sometime in the future. It probably won't have RTX, though, but I don't think it's affordable to be put in the midrange yet. These are big chips, meaning fewer dies per silicon wafer and likely a higher ocurrence of low yields. Silicon wafers are not cheap. It's sad what nvidia is doing. I was enjoying my 660ti's in SLI for a long time but when I went to 4k gaming I needed something better. In canada though the only option was the 1070's since they were the only lower end cards that supported SLI. Nvidia screwed the low end customers with no SLi version of the 1060's. Took me a year of saving money to buy 2 1070ti's to finally get my 4k gaming working good. Now I see Nvidia did it again only SLi option is the 2080's and up now no mid ranged at all. Total BS.
Just as an example the 1070ti's cost me over 1600.00 dollars that alot of money. Now the 2080ti if I bought 2 in canada today it would be 3585.00 plus shipping I could buy a used car for that. Nvidia totally screwing the little guy.
I can't believe all the sold-out pre-orders, it's insane. People are buying these things based on nothing but marketing hype.
