Wow, had to check for myself, they really are going for 500 on ebay. 4k max pretty much everything. Amazing card, especially if you get one for that price. I might have to go SLI.

I'm not surprised though - since we've all heard that new NV cards are about to pop. Everyone with a Pascal that wants to get rid of it, is doing it all at the same time now - which is pushing prices back down. Great time to upgrade if you don't want / need bleeding edge new cards.
 
I just saw one on ebay for 450. I'm sure they'll be a lack of supply, decent aftermarket models, and inflated prices with the 1180 which will make everyone kick themselves for not jumping on these ~$500 1080ti's.
 
Good luck getting one on here for less than $500. I know because I've been looking
 
It's only a matter of time now boys.
500 on ebay today. But ebay is going to charge sellers 50 dollars fee ( I think its 10%), so they net only 450 to 470 on ebay

Well, the Black Ops 4 beta didn't go so well with my 1080ti hybrid at 4k.

Something about that game where framerate = hit detection makes 60fps vs 120-240fps feel like I'm an Agent shooting at Neo.
 
I guess I'll just have to keep my sons 1080ti evga ftw3 hybrid to double up mine as he is never using it.

Nuts the thought of selling my 1080 and 1080ti at under the price I bought my last 1080ti at $860.. no thanks.
 
in for one at under $500 too. A lot of the miners are dumping their multi GPU rig. Once nvidia releases the next gen, 1080 prices will drop even more.

I have an MSI 1080 TI Duke Edition 11GB (triple fan, great cooling) mint condition works flawlessly was in a gaming PC and never used for mining, had it for about 3 month.
I literally used it maybe 2 times a week Saturday and Sunday only for the 3 months I had it. It's seen use maybe a grand total of 12-13 times.

Current low price on ebay is 500 as well, but for a PNY blower card that's probably seen 6-9+ months of mining. As of me writing this, cheapest aftermarket non-blower card is a gigabyte 3x for $520.
 
I have an EVGA 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid, played games with it.

Warranty is in my name and can transfer it.

I ended up snagging a cheap 1070ti to hold me over until 7nm gpus next year.
