Cheapest I could find:

Make sure you're not using it on a CPU with a TDP more than 65W (ie. no Pentium 4s, Celeron/Celeron Ds, Pentium Ds or Core 2 Quads.)

Here's a slightly more expensive one, which is the original full height model with a copper slug:

I still wouldn't trust this one with more than 65W TDPs.

A lot of times the Dell branded ones will be cheap too like this one--just be sure the backplate would be included and confirm the socket it's for:

As far as the TDP, just remove the blue pwm pin from the socket with a ball point pen (or other sharp object) and tape it so won't contact anything and the fan will run floored allowing you to run easily 95w processors on a 65w heatsink no problem. I upgraded a lga775 Dell with a Xeon that was 95w and used the stock 65w dell heatsink without an issue. In fact, I bet you can even do some mild overclocking this way too. If fan noise doesn't bother you, it's amazing how much cooling you can get out of just stock components. (y)

Removing the PWM functionality of the fan isn't going to make a difference (besides making it unbearably loud), the problem is the poor thermal conductivity of the Aluminum, coupled with the crap fin design. I've done my own experiments with replacing the stock fan with a 80mm delta 8000 RPM fan. The fan has so much thrust that it can levitate itself off a table nearly a quarter inch. Despite this, a 95W CPU (A Pentium D 915 in this case) still ran far out of thermal junction specs at 75C just idling. Doing any work at all quickly saw it shoot up to the high 80s and occasionally touching the 90s.

Even those cheap chinese coolers you find on Ebay like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/202058462265

Far outclass an Intel heatsink.

I wouldn't call 91C on a CPU the Intel heatsink was paired with being proper cooling. I had an i5-750 back in 2010 and I had to get a aftermarket cooler because the system kept crashing with the stock cooler running at stock speeds.

Anyone have an extra Lowe's coupon? I'm finally moving out my parents and want to save money on appliances! Thanks for the help!

Stop by one of your local post offices, ask for the address change "kit" which is a package (just an enveloped with stuff in it really) that has paperwork for doing that process (it's easier to do it online and faster) but inside the package will usually be coupons from local retailers like Lowes for the obvious reasons. I remember finding that on SlickDeals a few years ago, found some 25% off coupons for $100+ at Lowes/Home Depot and some others from other retailers too, they proved to be quite useful.

I upgraded my old HP 6200 Pro to a HP 8300 Elite.
So the old 6200 Pro board is up for grabs (This is a proprietary board with non-standard power supply connections and form factor) this is a second generation Intel Core processor LGA 1155 motherboard.

(The chassis is exactly the same all I did was a board swap to the newer version motherboard)

as always pay shipping and they are yours

I am also giving away a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 (Revision 1.5) with an AMD Athlon II x2 (Pending)

WANT:

I am looking for a small capacity SATA SSD (the standard desktop/laptop 2.5" SATA interface)

Looking for working lga775 boards to give life to some old cpus. Will be donated builds hopefully once done.

Interesting how the lga775 is still alive all these years later. :) Of course, I say this having several of them working and even posting from an lga771 system right now. Now what no one talks about is socket 478.

Socket 478, if it's a Pentium 4 Northwood, I still have one of those running Windows XP, just needs a nee CMOS battery.

I have 1 x Quadro NVS 295 cards which look like this:

(One card with the dongle gone to McChillin)

It's a 256 MB card with dual displayports. The card was a working pull from a Dell Precision T3500 workstation when it was upgraded.

Shipping to CONUS only via USPS flat rate box ($7.20 last I checked.)

Also have a Xeon W3505 and W3503 (IIRC, they've been in a package for awhile and I don't want to open it.) from the same pair of machines, working pulls. $5 shipped CONUS for the pair.

I hate to hear it, and I don't have one, but if you're completely desperate you can grab a Dell LGA 1150 board for cheap just to keep moving until you can get another z87:

I have some junk that is going in the trash monday if no one wants it:

1x 256MB DDR-333
Many audio cables. A bunch of RCA cables (gold plated and thick, old radio shack ones, a couple still in the packaging labeled as 'dubbing cables'), some 1/8th to 1/4" adapters, RCA cable couplers, a couple composite video cables, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm coiled cable with a screw on 1/4" adapter (sennheiser headphone cable)
a bunch of sata cables, probably a dozen or so
a bunch of PCIE power cables. Bought a bunch when I was mining. A lot of the sata to PCIE 6 pin cables, some 6 pin extensions, and some 6 pin to 6 pin male cables.
a 92mm fan duct
2 router antennas (standard round style, generic, in package)
some small copper shims. I guess people use them on playstations or something, I used them for a project but have like 10 left over. Probably about 1/10" thick each
some small black heatsink

all this stuff is free, but you pay shipping (at least $3 for first class). Let me know what you want and I will see what fits in what size box. Otherwise, it all fits in the garbage bin :)
