11 Series Release Date

I don't have a date per say, but as I was reading up on all the articles where experts are guessing July, then August, etc the following came to mind:

What is the best sales day of the year where folks drop wads of money? For many it's Christmas time (you know, Jesus' birthday where it's the guests and not the birthday guy who gets the presents?). But I digress ...

Yup, many folks stock up on Christmas presents come Black Friday time.

So that's my guess when nVidia will release the 11 series ... just saying :barefoot:

umm, April fools ? OK, I admit what I just said was lame.

I guess I could have titled it "My guess for 11 Series release date" but that didn't seem any better really. But watch and see, it will be around Oct /1st week in Nov 2018 (last year some retailers had Black Friday on Nov 1st). It's a hunch and they are more often than not pretty accurate ... we'll see
 
Jesus wasn't born in December but most likely September/October (hint, he was 33 1/2 years old when he was killed at Passover, which is easy to determine because it's at the first full moon after the spring equinox; and no, precession in 2000 years didn't change it by three months).

I agree and IMO it is highly unlikely the Shepherds would have been camping out in the fields during winter and no, the Wise Men were not partakers of Christ's birth - they arrived after baby Jesus was brought to the temple. I prefer to spend much more time on His Resurrection than His birth
 
Saturnalia was essentially coopted by Christians to become Christmas, including the custom of gift-giving, etc.

And, yes, Jesus' resurrection was a far more important date but again is celebrated on the wrong day most of the time (He rose on the third day which, if you're counting from Passover, is usually not a Sunday...).
 
march/april or september/october are the two best times to release new hardware for sales. for games it's may/june or november/dec.

school gets out end of may, beginning of june(depending on where you live) so that's the best time to release games for the summer break in the US. so hardware sales usually happen right before that since the months leading up to game releases are when the media hype happens so that's the best time to launch new hardware.

Those dumb rumor sites will come out with another article next month telling us they have info they will be released in Sept....FOR SURE THIS TIME!
 
an article from my yahoo newsfeed suggests a late august release date citing a leaked email from an nvidia aib partner.
