Hey [H], I've got a few older systems that I am not sure what to do with.

Abit IP35-Pro
Intel Core 2 E6500
4GB DDR2 800
Scythe Ninja 2 cpu cooler

Asus A8N-Sli-Premim
AMD 64 X2-4200+
4GB DDR 400
Zalman CNPS9700 cpu cooler

Asus A8N-Sli-Premim
AMD 64 X2-4200+
2GB DDR 400

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
Intel Core 2 E8400
8GB ram
Scythe Mugen cpu cooler

I've got a 7900GT, 8800GTS, 9600GT and GTX285 for cards, (2) Corsair TX650W's and OCZ 520watt psu's. I'm not sure if I should just scrap these things, try and sell them... They are fully functional so I guess I could sell em, even if I parted em. I can get another 4GB of DDR2 800 and bump the E6500 setup to 8GB for $20 but I'm still not sure what I'd do with it, older games?

Suggestions or just get rid of it?

I'd keep the E6500 and try to get my hands on a Geforce 4 Ti 4600.

(the last graphics card with great old school compatibility)

Anything that doesn't need that, you can run on a current machine.

That would not work at all: The GeForce 4 Ti series are AGP only, and the P35 motherboard has absolutely no AGP slots at all - only PCIe slots. The hardware MUST be compatible with one another; otherwise, the system would not work at all.

SMH.

I was so used to my old x2 4400+ having AGP; I almost forgot PCIe was the norm by then.

Muh bad.

Well, just found another one, added to the original post.

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
Intel Core 2 E8400

Thanks for the responses guys!

Look at that Scythe Ninja 2 on the E6500, lol, huge!

I use a Ninja 1 on my 2600k, still one of the quietest coolers ever built and best true passives due to its' fin pitch. Would love a Ninja 2 if you decide to part them.
Quite a haul you have there!

Give them to a school that has a computer hardware class.

You can probably sell them as people still do want older systems like this. However, shipping them is the hard part as you're going to have to take out almost all add-in cards, hard drives, and the cpu cooler to keep them from coming loose in shipping and wreck the whole thing.

And with that being said, maybe giving them away to good local homes would be easier. But then again if no one is interested, you're back to shipping again.

I don't know where you are, but if I had a way to getting to you, I'd scoop all those up and put them to work as I still regularly use systems like that. (y) I actually just ordered a lot of 4 e8600 cpus for some upgrades in systems that can take them.
