I have not really followed the computer thing for a while.

Can some experienced people recommend some top 140mm case fans and 120mm cpu cooler fans? Just for my own info so I can look towards specific brands or models for good 140mm case fans and 120mm cpu fan. I am looking for low noise but good cfm of course.

Noctua is already on my list, but they are expensive. I do not care about the money that much, but id rather not spend $60-80 to get 3 fans for my computer. Something close to Noctua in cfm, low noise and quality for half the price or less would be ideal.

Any help appreciated.

Antec Tru-Quiet.

I've had good luck with those, but also Noctua like u stated.

I used Scythe Glidestream fans SY1225HB12SH-P and SY1425HB12M-P in my last build. Great performance at a lower cost than Noctua. But that was before the newest Noctua NF-A12.

Recommendation depends availability and prices in your part of the world. Links to a couple websites you can buy from would be helpful. Phanteks PH-F140MP and PH-F120MP are good.

you dont have to spend top dollar for noctuas anymore. they have the redux line that is half what the top tier fans are but still perform very well. they look better too. you could go with a $30 nf f12 2000 cpu fan if ocing is what your looking to do.

youll want something with both cfm and static pressure tho. if no ocing go the redux route for all of them. check out the website there are a ton of options.
bequiet silent wing 3s are very nice but expensive.

tbh we need more info like dwd said. do you want silence, or is raw power what you want, or leds/rgb or...yeah lots of variables.

I have a fairly old system atm because I do not game much anymore. I still do a little and I am sure I am cpu limited, but meh I havnt upgraded yet.

With that said, I run an overclocked i5-2500k sandybridge system with an Fractal r5 case and hyper 212 evo cooler. My PSU I have had for a long while which is an Antec Neoeco 620 which I believe is an older Seasonic psu. My computer has been really loud and annoying for a while and I thought it was my GPU fan but it was my PSU fan the whole time. I found this out when I upgraded my graphics card and system was still loud at load. It was just annoying me to the point where id rather spend a little money and fix the problem. That is why I am getting into the noise aspect right now because I definitely want a quiet PC. Good/decent cooling and low noise is my objective.

So I am purchasing 3 fans for my case, (1) 140mm fan intake, (1) 140mm fan exhaust, and (1) 120mm fan PWM fan for CPU.

Here is my short list I have decided on for fans I am debating between right now after asking around and doing some reasearch:

Noctua NF-A12/NF-A14 PWM / FLX, Redux, etc etc
ARCTIC F12 / F14 Series etc
Corsair ML140 Pro, 140mm (Magnetic Levitation) fans
SILENT WINGS 3
Thermaltake Riing 12 Series
Phanteks PH-F140MP and PH-F120MP

Replace your power supply. It has outlived its usefulness.

I know. I think I stated that I did that earlier, or maybe not. I did, its on its way.

I am not sure I would say it that way, but it is just too damn loud at load.
