Just saw this. Doesn't seem to have any category exclusions. Only one time use so be sure to load up your cart before using it. If you do mess up (like I did once), just log out and check out as guest and you can use it again as a guest.

Happy buying! I guess companies are determined to make sure no one will have any free cash at the end of this week. :ROFLMAO:
Terms & Conditions:

This Coupon is a $25 discount off a minimum purchase of $119, valid from 5:00 AM PT on July 17, 2018 until 11:00 PM PT on July 17, 2018. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items on ebay.com. Eligible items exclude warranties and protection plans, as well as items from the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, and Real Estate categories.

Coupon must be used within a single transaction (and can include multiple eligible items), while supplies last. Max one-time use. Only eBay users registered with an address located in the United States, Latin America or the Caribbean are eligible for the Coupon. Valid only for purchases from ebay.com. Any unused difference between the discount amount, as shown on the Coupon, and the purchase price of an item(s) in a single transaction (or cart) will be forfeited.

omg i wasnt gonna do this but damn...
This tempts me like you wouldn't believe.
I know! It was bad enough yesterday with all that prime stuff floating around! I think this whole week is going to be like this and then you're going to see a lot of stuff 'on sale' in the FS forum and CL by the end of the month. :ROFLMAO:

There's a retro computer I want. I don't need it, but I want it and $25 make it somewhat reasonable.

this will be my first time in bed with amd, hope shes gentle...
AMD has really done well recently. I think you'll enjoy the ride. ;)

Cool! You'll have to show it to us if you end up getting it. And still post the link if you don't get it so one of us can. :D

Snagged a 1060 6GB for $171. Ill consider this a score.

I think i saw one even go for a bit less

Newegg pulled some items off their store prior to coupon. I wonder why... it isn't like they are going to be losing any money.

Example: LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic

Already purchased things on both my accounts with this coupon.

This is obviously a hard counter to Amazon's Prime Day. I guess everyone's perspective varies, but for everything I purchase online I can find the exact item I'm looking for on ebay for the same or less than Amazon, there's no tax, and I get 1% back in ebay bucks for purchases on the next quarter. I would honestly have to login to my Amazon account to see when the last time I purchased something on there was. If I had to venture a guess it was something around Christmas because I got a gift card from a relative.

Problem with buying on Ebay in general is the shipping is totally random. A week or 3 ago when they had the 15% off coupon, I ordered a new motherboard (from Newegg) and a new 2700x (refurbs4less) on the same ticket. I got the motherboard in 3-4 days... the CPU took over 2 weeks to show up. If I had known that going in, I woudn't have done it. I could have paid $10-15 more for the CPU on Newegg and had it much sooner. You can complain in feedback, but it doesn't change anything.

But for sheer dollar value, yeah, Ebay can have some crazy deals sometimes.

awwww dont tell me that about the 2700x, i just orderd that from the same place, 2 weeks is an eternity...

My expectations are strictly based on getting the best deal. This is just me personally, but cost trumps almost everything. I purchase $12,000-$18,000 worth of computer components every month and there's shitty sellers everywhere. You can get a slow shipment from anyone, anywhere. Once you get away from wanting items instantly or on some super quick timeline, you'll find things run a lot smoother and you save money. Amazon Prime makes so much money because people overpay for something just to get it quicker.

Looking at the 2700x deal you mentioned, the listing states the estimated delivery time is 7/23-7/30 if I purchased it right now. If you read their feedback there's plenty of people's testimony that states they're slow to ship. The very first neutral feedback states it took them 10 days to ship the item. Just the estimated shipping date is 6-13 days for who ever orders one. They should expect a long wait regardless of where they live.

This is just a generalization on the 2700x, this isn't aimed to be mean, or derail this thread. It is simply a comment on how people tend to purchase things without doing proper research first on ebay:
If you read the item description and feedback, then expect it to get to you quickly, I question your judgement.
If you read those items, buy it anyways, and then complain about the item not arriving quickly, your argument is invalid.
If you didn't read those items and complain, I can't respect your remarks because you didn't do your due diligence is purchasing something.
If someone legitimately takes forever to ship an item and it's way past the estimated delivery date, you have every right to complain.

Let's all help each other out, share awesome deals, and your experiences with those places. That's what this whole section is for as we can already see two people who've purchased CPU from the same place. I don't personally like it, but ebay really is trying to be Amazon 2.0 and move more into the new item / retail market. With deals like this they're doing it, but I don't see it as sustainable for them to keep pushing out promos like this.

Been buying a lot from ebay as of late. Never had many late items. Except the ones from China, but those still arrived within their time frames (3-6 weeks). In general I find shipping to be within a week, sometimes longer. Honestly no worse than Amazon. Obviously this will vary from seller to seller and for different items.

I bought a Switch Pro controller, Steelseries QcK Limited mouse pad, AmFilm screen protector and something else. Paid $122 - $25. Total came out to around $97. Which worked out great because I didn't over spend by $20-30 to get a good deal like you often do.

Some great feedback here, and it applys really for any place you purchase from. Some companies pack better than others so there's less of damage, some just throw it in the box, some places are dirt cheap and process orders quickly, some take up to 48hrs just to process the order.

The key to the due diligence is to find out all the 'hidden' truths, which I hate to say it, but companies are trying harder than ever to bury in their fine print and even review systems/social media. Those are the ones that you might get a great deal, but the experience can leave a bad taste in the mouth.
