LOL yep.. sling. corrected my post too. Sling was just horrid for the sheer number of commercials.. and playing the exact same ones over and over and over...

Do you ever use an app for one channel like HGTV? I use the FXNOW app and confirmed that I paid for FX, started up The Simpsons, then it specifically says I have reduced commercials and shows 5 shrinking to 1, then a 30 second auto dealership ad. Then repeat that for other commercial breaks. Not sure if a current show like The Americans has tons of ads.

Yeah, they work to the benefit of the people using the statistic generally. That's about a 0.1% sample size. I'm sure it was taken from a broad area though.
