Actually, I'm not against them getting help externally. Just need to know that we are up against a combined team, just like in Pentathlon. It's all fun and bring interest in DC on a larger scale. They are able to lure other team members, so that's +1 for them. If we want, then we need to make our team attractive to other teams. I recalled phoenicis contributed some credits to TAAT, so this is how we build good relationship with other teams. Just my personal opinion.

I'm not against them recruiting people. I just disagree that a member of a fellow team in FB should be contributing to another team in the competition. Stick to one team. Otherwise it really isn't a team competition.

We won this Sprint. Great job everyone!

Big thank you to everyone who has contributed to Rosetta recently. Helps with the year long Marathon and this latest Sprint, and to science.

Recent team contributors sorted based on the last 28 days:

sorry I wasn't there more guys. Rebuilding my rigs and transitioning roles for them takes a while with 2 young ones wanting to "help". I woke up one morning earlier this week to my 18 month son bringing me a hard drive out of my office. One down, one ready for selling, one needing built (still need ram), and one needs a huge dust bunny eviction.

Congrats on the win!!
Well done phoenicis & fastgeek on the BS crazy systems that can pull off such a turnaround!

lol up at 5 am sucks

*yawwwnnnn* *blink* *blink*

Threw a few big boxes at the sprint for you guys. Not my usual soul crushing army; but it should help.

Thanks & sorry i am not much help on CPU bound workloads :-/

Thanks atp1916

For now, I'm back on:
Amicable Numbers
Asteroids@home
PrimeGrid
SETI@home
yoyo@home

But mostly PG SETI and AN (all GPU bound)

The eXtraSpicy Plats/Golds are surprisingly affordable.

Then again, you discounted TR1s probably coming as well as the 32core TR2s.

Lawdy, what shall we do  :D

07/05/2018 23:00 (UTC) - 07/08/2018 22:59 (UTC)
Project to be determined

So should be announced 23:00 UTC on the 4th...lol

So 2300 UTC is gonna be 1800 / 6:00pm Central Standard without DST figuring in.

I'm getting tired of dealing with Server class boards, so I think I'll be leaning on TR1 from this point forward. Especially considering how cheap you can find some boards and cpus right now.

I really hope to see TR1s @ 500 or less when the TR2s start proliferating.

I got some fireworks if this gonna be a GPU project and can actually pull WUs :p

Previous traditional 4U format had me limiting TDP even past the normal 100-120w range just to keep temps manageable.

These Onda form factors give me all the thermal headroom I need, and then some.
