Thanks for the reply.Based on leaked specs of the z390, it should. But since leaked stuff are obviously not official, we'll never know.
Asrock has thunderbolt on itx since z270.
You should look into the absolute horror stories of Asus customer service both here and elsewhere on the internet. That's true. I forgot about that, but now I remember I read some negative reports about the quality of those boards as well as CS and that's why I decided to go with Asus ROG since they seemed to have a better reputation. I am hoping Asus will release z390-i boards with TB onboard.
I've had more than one nightmare of service with asus. it was fucking terrifying. You should look into the absolute horror stories of Asus customer service both here and elsewhere on the internet.
ASRock is solid. As well as many other brands. The only thing going for Asus is the branding and top dollar advertising they spend money on.

I've had nightmarish encounters with both ASRock and Asus, on both QC & CS issues. They are both crap IMHO...I refuse to touch either one with a 100,000,000 mile long pole
That leaves MSI which I wouldn't touch and Gigabyte.. I trust them and Asus (but not Asus RMA service). If the Asus works, it should stay that way.
