I figure I'm missing out having my speakers behind my monitors so I moved them up front I was wondering if Speaker stands or wedges would make a difference? Once upon a time I had some creative soundblaster speakers that sounded really good I just figured they sounded good because they were above me at one time instead of at desk level. My speakers at logitechs z906s so I maybe just place a few books under them or do they have 12" stands out there?

isoACOUSTICS make tall stands.
they only go up to 8" though,

I have a set using the short legs to raise my speakers up to the monitor.

I will say that the speakers do sound better when isolated from the desk. The speaker housing doesn't resonate through the desk which makes the bass cleaner.

I used foam wedges on my other machine since I didn't really want to spend $100 for another set of isoACOUSTIC stands on a system I hardly use.
If I was working and making money, I probably would have gotten another set since they do look nicer than these wedges.

The most important aspects are getting the tweeter to ear level, no buzzing from vibration, and reduce reflections off your desk. Doesn't matter if it's foam or stands. That being said I use IsoAcoustics but only for aesthetics and ease of setup, I used to use brick and foam. 0 sound difference.

I used a bunch of Tom Clancy Splinter Cell books I haven't had time to read along with Ghost Recon books and Blade Runner :p 4" high for the front speakers only they do sound better actually.

Come on guys, he doesn't need isoacoustics for these:

Those are like $100-200 for a pair - ridiculous for a $280 set of PC speakers.

It looks like these have the 1/4" mounting hole on the back - I'd just get some cheap wall mounts and do that. Then they're out of your way and you can position them well.

I've used these for small speakers and they work great: https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Univaersal-Satellite-Speaker-Bracket/dp/B005BV0FHG/
