have you tried baking it? There's a thread on here where people have brought cards back to life over and over. Might just be the cheapest ticket.

Thats the first thing I thought about! But, the card is really old and I would like to upgrade this year to either an 8700k system or 2700x system.

I completely understand. :) Well, if you do end up baking it and getting it working again after you've replaced it, I'd be interested in it--it's 2x as fast as the fastest cards I have.

Building an 8700k or 2700x system, will need a 1070ti or better. Maybe a 2nd for my brother.

I have a new PNY GTX1080 Founders Edition (still shrink wrapped) $550 shipped to your door. I haven't checked current prices. I hope i'm not too far off. I won't be near a computer again until tomorrow morning. Monday nights are busy.

yea, I wish gtx 1080/ti used prices were $300 less than street New but it's not reality and wont be until the market is saturated with GPU's which is not likely for at least the next 2 or 3 years

I think cryptocurrancy is crashing right now so I think the next 3-6 months might see a flood of used cards hit the market and maybe drive prices back down a bit.

sure, that could be the case and one needs to keep in mind the card will likely have been running 24/7 for how long? and will it be under warranty (I think only EVGA honors warranty transfer)

Yep, but a heavy gamer or streamer might have similar usage. Besides, if it's cheap and the upgrade cycle starts again, by the time it fails it will be time for an upgrade. ;)

I know there has to be a pro-mining billionaire who may want to swap out old product that isn't reaching old Hash #'s and swap in new cards. I can take one of those for some Overwatch and Youtube.

Other individuals may want to just sell a card to get out of the 'hobby'.

A lot of the mining 'pros' are using specialized mining hardware. It has always been questionable to whether gpu mining was going to be viable long-term, and the double-digit declines in sales at both amd and nvidia in the last earnings reports makes me thing it's not sustainable--and that means more cards for gaming and normal computing uses should be right around the corner. :)

My 7970 bought here on [H]ardforum has bit the dust. It doesn't let me post in any of my 3 pcie slots. I'm currently running off a Radeon 5870.

I'm looking for any used GTX 1070ti 1080 1080ti

Using Amazon for reference and going off of Gigabyte cards my budget is $400-600usd shipped to California.

Lets make a deal as I am flexible

My goal is to make a mini itx build with an Ncase; I need 8700k or 2700x parts.

I've bought and sold over $4k

i have 2x PNY 1080 TI that i'll do for 650 shipped a piece.

Purchased from best buy.

Only bought 34 days ago.

Work flawlessly.

These were purchased for an AI deep learning project but never saw use, the client went with Nvidia Titan XPs in bulk instead.

Alternatively I'm actually also selling my Asus ROG Strix 1080 TI but it would be 700 instead. Used that for approx 2 months.

Thanks guys for the help. I managed to get an 8700k+mobo+psu.

GPU + 144hz ips panel missing.

Just got back home. SFF build needs a 1080ti / Noctua fans / 144hz panel / prayer.

Have some EVGA SC Black 1080ti cards for 650 shipped with original accs and box. PM

thanks m8. I'm going to need to take off the icx heatsink and replace with an Accelero. GamersNexus recommends I get a cheap MSI Armor card that has a crappy 1070 cooler. Thats why I didn't want to match your price.
