What are you nerds playing this weekend?

This thread got neglected. I was playing The New Colossus this weekend. I've heard that it's crap, but so far it's no worse than the first was. Unfortunately no better either.

Nothing :(
/Still waiting on my last new bit of hardware to arrive Monday - 2GB SSD for my new Games/Steam drive
//itching to try Banished again on the new CPU (old 2500k shouldn't handle it)

Finally picked up The Division because it was on sale and I heard they have really turned the game around since launch. Destiny 2 wasn't what I was hoping it would be so I'm thinking this will scratch my looter shooter itch for now.

I was playing the Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition. I don't know if I ever played through the whole game in the special edition.

IMO they can't turn it around enough .... was a waste of $$$. Iplayed it for maybe an hour then hid the game (bought it on Steam). Only game I can think of that I bought and then didn't play (won't buy games anymore without first watching Youtube in-game video footage)

I just finished it (making good on my "Try to finish my Steam games" goal). You are right on this, it's not what the first one was and it seemed to change the overall mood of the series... it's all stealth FPS now?

The stealth is optional. I played through it killing anything that moved.

Kingdom come deliverance and fuck is this game difficult. The Combat doesn't come naturally to me.

Every now and again I load up PUB G

Rise if the tomb raider on ps4 (quite stuttery at times:( ) and Dx mankind divided on PC, I die a lot, hard combat there.

I played Wizard of Legend every time I got a chance between other things over the weekend. Top notch if you're into that sort of thing.

I think I just witnessed Wolfenstein II The New Colossus jumping the shark.

Just finished Wasteland 2, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Now Playing Divinity: Original Sin.

Been playing wow battle for Azeroth beta this weekend. Really loving the changes so far. I like how items work. I am also glad to get rid of these dam artifact weapons

Finished FC5 yesterday . .. .had a lot of fun with it. . always like blowing stuff up. If they make a Far Cry 6, and keep the overall theme, please let me drive a locomotive with freight cars attached.

Before FC5 it was Kingdom Come Deliverance and I agree with a statement made above regarding the combat- it did not come naturally to me either. What a mess I made of that game. I liked it a lot but man did I have one hell of a learning curve and I don't think I did that game justice.

KCD, combat came natural to me, not sure why, and I completely understand why it was hard for others but I loved it. Spent a lot of time training in the sparring pit though.

Now it's POE2

The division, decent game while some bosses are a bit much.
Finished Detroit: become human, not a bad "game" but gave me a telltale vibe, more of an interactive movie.

Might start Elex next.

Fallout 4. I abandoned it after like two weeks the first time around. This time I'm loving it. Don't have the season pass.

Doom and Fortnite (I know, I know.. I'm ashamed of myself.. but PUBG has run its course with me and this is infinitely more casual)

FINALLY about the finish The Last of Us. Have it enjoyed it so much, hate for it to end. Have to figure out what's next. Ori and the Blind Forest? God of War? Horizon Zero Dawn? The Uncharted series?

Depends, you want the best first or last? Imho Horizon is the best of that lot, God of war is pretty good too as are the uncharted games, the first uncharted one is pretty dated though, the others hold up better. I tried Ori, but I haven't played platformers for so long I'm pretty terrible at it, and I don't get the click I need to keep playing.

Started Zelda Breath of the Wild. May end up selling it. Very long winded. I think I spent 2 hours running around literally collecting sticks and apples. Looked up how long this game is, and apparently 40-90 hours. Damn, that is a long time to run around aimless collecting sticks / apples with a few puzzles thrown in. Sad state of gaming where every SP game has to be stupidly long and based around extremely tedious and repetitive actions. Just the first area alone would have been enough for a full game, but I suppose they had to stretch it out by forcing you to run 10 minutes between areas. Thankfully unlike PC games you can sell Swtich cartridges.

Easily one of the most uninspired, generic cookie open world cutter games I've played in a long time.
