Man, jumping from a Gold to a Platinum rating, including a SFX > ATX adapter plate, & sleeved cables...!

Now my original SF600 PSU feels inadequate...

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing, looks like only a $20 price hike too.

Got my side panel! Very quick and dirty shot. Right now my case is on my left side, so I need to re-do my desk setup a little bit and get it on the right side where I can see it lol. Might need to consider getting rid of these Noctua fans for the redux version, though I expect to lose some performance by doing so. Also not really a big deal given my board is a lovely yellow and black, my RAM is blue, and my GPU is RGB. XD

The best 120mm fans you can get currently noise-performance-quality ratio, they can run faster than i.e. already great performing Noctua NF-12 or Noiseblocker eLoop fans, but offer still more silent operation.

I don't understand why Noctua hates their customers. I will not use those dank looking fans, I don't care how well they perform. They would make a lot more money if they offered all their fans in black.

i see alot of intake fans mounted at the bottom blowing into non blower style gpu. basically blowing into gpu intake fans. does this negativley affect the gpu fans? i.e make them have to work harder due to another fan blowing into them?

I never noticed a negative impact.

Both side panel windows are at the tint shop getting 35% applied. I'll have before and after pictures of them up some time this week.

Boxed up my SF-450 for return. My copy had a persistent electrical noise. Way quieter than the old Silverstone psu I’ve to put back in but still audible. I’ll wait a bit and get the new platinum version and hopefully I’ll get a silent one. Worth the upgrade just for the cables.

Might have a new king of the hill here. According to GN, "a couple millimeters shorter than the previous one" which I'm assuming is the c14s, which is a few mm too large for a full size fan.

I hope it won't replace the C14S, because you can't use this with the fan under the heatsink, so it will be 25mm taller than the low-profile config of the C14S.

That was my thought upon seeing that smaller attached fin area...

good to know added two 120mm bottom fans. will need to pickup 3 pin splitter. its a tight fit. with one bottom fan didnt even get close to 80c with auto gpu fan setting.

....and so are my bottom exhaust fans (Noctua NF-P12 redux) at around 900 rpm.... :)

Wait are you saying that you have bottom fans installed below your GPU and that they are arranged to exhaust air out of the bottom of the case? Pulling air directly AWAY from the GPU fans that are right next to them? If that’s what you are doing, then of course it would be loud. You have fans fighting against each other in there. The GPU fans are trying to push air across the GPU heat sink but the case fans right below the GPU fans are pulling all the air away from the GPU fans. It’s a wonder that the GPU is getting cooled at all.

Is anyone here using an EVGA GTX 1080 SC as well?
Under load it's veeeeery loud since the fans go around 1800 rpm and I can still hear it with closed headphones on. It somehow feels that something isn't right there. Temps are around 65-70 °C which is fine, but the noise isn't.
My CPU fans are really quite even at around 1400 rpm (Noctua NF-B9 redux) and so are my bottom exhaust fans (Noctua NF-P12 redux) at around 900 rpm. But even at 800 rpm the GPU fans are quite loud, let alone any rpm above that.
I got a tempered glass side panel, but I doubt that this is the problem. Maybe someone can help me out :)

Since fan curves didn't work on the updated 6.3 version of EVGA Precision X I downloaded an older version (5.3.11) and set the fan curve preset to "Quiet" and I don't know if it was intended by EVGA or not but the fans didn't spin...at all. Even under load, 0 rpm. So I checked the temps while playing PUBG for like 20 minutes and it looks like my two bottom exhaust fans are enough to keep the card around 80 °C, which is fine for me. For a test I set the rpm to around 1000 rpm on my GPU and the temps are still the same?! I don't really get what's going on here.
Did the GPU cooler break somehow? Did I set up the fans incorrectly? Afaik the GPU fans suck in the air, and the bottom fans push it out on the bottom, correct?
It's fine for me since my PC is reeeeeeally quite now, but I'm still wondering what's going on here :D

Hopefully the same height as the C14 and you can use 2 X 120mm fans on the bracket, still the best air cooling solution I have seen in the Ncase.

Just picked up a 2tb ssd for $224.5 after discounts and cash back on eBay. 1 more hour left on ebay’s sale I think. Can’t really hear my hard drives of over my old psu but once I get a SF-450 again it’ll be nice to go all solid state and have a nice silent pc. Probably more than I should be spending rn now but oh well.

This is what I bought. 20% off with code PICKDADSGIFT until 22h Eastern Time. I also got 5% back from my credit card for using PayPal.

Edit: that’s an Ebay site wide code not just for this item. Looks like just for the Americas though.

Never mind, had to cancel the order. Noticed just as I hit buy eBay had my old address and they don’t let you change it after the fact. No SSD for me :-( Hope others were able to take advantage of the sale.

Damn that is a steal, they are usually that much for 1TB. Nice find.

officially ordered my m1 and window.

have to wait for another paycheck to get the mobo and waiting for july for the new sf600 release.

I use the Silverstone antennas and I can confirm that they're very good. They come with extensions + magnetic bases, so it's really functional for getting the best possible signal.

are there price drops expected on the 120mm Nocutas (brown and beige color) now that the new "A" series 120's are out? Just looking to get a side intake fan so don't need anything fancy.

Looks good, what are the temp differences?
Thanks! Temps are great, IMO. CPU intake, bottom exhaust. I actually came back to the M1. I was in the Evolv Shift non-x for awhile, and temps are better here than in the Shift with air cooling, but slightly worse than the Shift with 2x 120mm AIOs.

Gaming temps:
CPU 50-55
GPU 65-70

Prime95 + Heaven temps (not thoroughly tested, just a 10 minute run)
CPU 70-75
GPU 60-65

Looks really good. This confirms Optimum Tech's results for the same airflow setup in his recent video. Can you remind us what your CPU and GPU are?

Did the June 6th batch of cases ship? I haven't received a tracking update.

Ordered with the June 6th batch, haven't received my tracking update either. Sent an email to support yesterday and haven't received a reply yet.

Will you let me know what they say if you hear a response please?

I paid 65 for shipping because I needed it here next week so if it hasn't left yet there is no chance of that happening lol rip.

I did as well, similarly on a time constraint lol. I will update you if i hear back

From their FAQ I saw this:

"Please note that the tracking number format and website will vary based on the carrier used to ship your order - SFFLAB works with a number of carriers in order to optimize for cost and speed. Furthermore, some carriers are delayed in sending SFFLAB tracking numbers for packages; SFFLAB always automatically sends tracking information to customers the moment we receive that data from carriers, however!"

It's possible it has shipped already but the update to SFFLAB hasn't happened yet. I just got a little worried since everything else I've ever ordered from them got updated on the day in which the website had noted and this is the only exception. I'm hoping it's just the carrier being slow to update SFFLAB.
