Auction for a power lunch with Warren Buffet $3+ million currently

I question whether anyone who has $3M to burn actually stands to gain much by having lunch with Warren Buffet.

I'm sure he's an interesting guy, but if you can afford to spend that much, it seems like you might already know him, or at least have access to ways you could get hold of him if you really needed to.
 
Is lunch included? Or is the auction just to win the opportunity to have lunch with Buffett?

Yea, but part of it too is it can be taken as a giant tax writeoff because its considered a charitable donation.

According to this article there is 36k "Households" that have a net worth north of $100 million
