There will be older adults offering to buy cards for younger ones for a small fee, just like they do with alcohol and cigarettes !! This won't stop underage access to pRon. There will always be free sites as well !! This will be a hard nut to crack for the authorities.

Just wanted to touch on this. GDPR is does not effect euro countries only. It affects any company globally that sells products, provides services or does business in the EU. So, in this case, since pornhub is accessible from within the EU, and pornhub has a subscription service (thereby making it a business) they would, in fact, be subject to GDPR as would any and all similar websites.

Even 'free' sites would potentially be subject to it although it would likely have to go through the courts before we know if all free sites would be affected. (Can't imagine that all free sites would be affected myself because that puts the onus on the whole of the internet, but y'know, europe.)

Yet people will argue to get government involved in private business via Net Neutrality. I'm sure once the government has their rules, regulations, penalties, fees, etc intertwined with how an ISP is run, we can just expect the land of the free with internet usage. I work for a county government and we already block some sites with software called iBoss, granted they know the site is blocked and it so people work and not surf the internet all day. The one piece of the software we don't implement but surprised me was the ability to block certain keywords when performing a search so it doesn't return the results expected and you would never know it. Thank god ajit got rid of NN or at least most of it.

To all the people saying 'Just use VPN'..... Do you honestly not think the next step is to require this same certificate to be allowed to use VPN services? I wouldn't be surprised if they went 1 step further and required you to set them up as a proxy for your VPN so they can decrypt/scan all traffic passing through the tunnel.....

You do realize that removing NN allows the ISPs to do all that filtering you were just mentioning right? With no oversight or transparency other than them 'promising' not to..... While running on infrastructure paid for by the tax payers no less..... You can't seriously be that nieve that you think these mega-corporations with a monopoly aren't going to abuse the shit out of it for their own (or anyone with a lot of money) gain.... They aren't just ISPs, they are also content producers/providers with no rules/regulations to stop them from blocking/slowing competition now. But guess I guess nothing is better than something right?
