OMG it's still alpha don't you know anything about game development, it's probably your fault for being in the wrong time zone.

New Starlifter concept ship. Three variants. Big. They can carry two of the ground tanks or variable amounts of cargo depending on variant choice. Not cheap though.
Yeah it looks fantastic. I wont bother buying one though because I'm more interested in the ships you can fly solo more than having a crew but that's just me. Plus like you said the dang thing is expensive.Yeah, i like the look a lot. I may ccu my second Banu merchantman to the civilian version. The others are priced way to high to even consider it, for me anyway. The bomber looks really cool, but I'll just grab it in game, no reason to melt anything substantial for it.

LTI for cash only pledges is their way of rewarding people who support ongoing development. Melting ships and reshuffling store credits to get another isn't worth much to them.
Also the value of LTI continues to be overblown when they've repeatedly told us that you'll likely never lose any ship bought with cash. Worst case scenario is you'll just have a longer respawn timer to wait if you can't afford to pay the insurance fees
I really need to see what further plans they have for ground based gameplay 'cause the Herc seems mainly geared for that with the "Mother of all bombs" blurb and its tank/vehicle deployment ability.
If the cargo bay of the Polaris is large enough to house a Tank it would be nice cause it already has a 1 ship hangar making it literally a mini Idris and perfect to use for shakedown with the org crew before using the Idris.
We're probably gonna end up in a situation where stuff like building player owned outposts is implemented BEFORE making them destructible so naturally factions will form around defending those outposts and others trying to take them over. I personally would perfer them to be permanent/indestructible 'cause the amount of effort/resources/coordination to get them built is going to be pretty significant. Also making buildings destructible would open the game up to a lot of exploits/griefing, imagine people picking up a delivery mission but instead of picking up the item they destroy the outpost thereby preventing others from doing any missions related to that outpost. Or they just go around destroying outposts wholesale.we would need destructible outposts and cities for things to feel like they fit properly in the verse.
Yeah going to be interesting. I wonder if they could do destructible and then you can file an insurance claim to get it back similar to a ship as well as letting you work to repair aspects of it. Otherwise having a bomber and such seems somewhat limited if they just lock down the airlocks and hide inside.
Partially why I hope they leave it alone until much farther along so it can be fit in properly.

LOL.....so they turn up their nose at all of the backers that have supported CIG over the years to the tune of $180+ million?
Do you guys even think before you parrot CIG's BS?
If y'all hate this so much, why are you here? We are enjoying puttering around this Alpha and last I checked not threatening your happiness. Please go find something that makes you happy elsewhere.
Why are we being told to be patient regarding a game that's almost 4 years late and yet is somehow still in the early alpha stage and years away from completion?
I genuinely don't think this project started as a scam, but it's entering that territory now. I just don't see how they can deliver even a fraction of what they've provided based on what they've shown so far.
I haven't been in this thread much. Came back today to find out it's still the same. Mostly people talking about trading in their entire fleet for the next, new ship. And haters. Not sure why the haters don't just walk away, but whatever.

fraction is delivered, it even has roadmap now
lol. You got the effective top of the line graphics card but it's only good up to what amounts to medium Res now.Your rig? Should be able to play it fine, as long as you are not at 4K. I have a Ryzen 1700 and 1080Ti and it's good at 1440p.
Care to explain why? So others don't pay 80.00 for a "joke"?I've spent $80+ dollars on this....
It's a joke.
