auntjemima, the tasks crunched prior to the host becoming trusted stay in pending validation until a wingman comes along. As motqalden says, this can be for days especially during a sprint where people are scooping up too many tasks and then dumping them incomplete at the end of the sprint

I see some have an end date that it has to be in by.. say someone doesn't validate my work by that point.. does it then fail?

Example. I have one from a slow PC here that is listed as "Too late" in the collum that usually says Verified.

Thoughts?

Did you submit it too late or did somebody else before you received it? If it was somebody else then you're fine.

I don't even know how to hold onto ones I've completed to submit later.. I just turn that bitch on and walk away.

Does it have points next to it? If no, then someone else returned it before you did. If it does have points then you got credit.

I have the following boxes mostly sitting idle right now:

E5 2695v3

i7 6850K -- Titan Xp

i7 6800K
i7 3770S -- GTX1060

i3 4150 -- R9 390

Everything is running on Windows and the GPUs are currently mining but you can probably talk me into putting those to work too.

So, where do you need me the most?

Oh wow... can't say I'm surprised being that the level of support on the project became non-existent.

Anyone having issues getting tasks from SRBase? They were working fine until 4/16 and now I haven't received any.

Getting any errors? This project requires an invite code which is located on the homepage... pillepalle

Thanks i was able to do that from the website. Boinc manager was showing this and didn't seem to see any other options.

atp2916 Thanks for confirming. I had other projects set for "No New Tasks" but then even had to go as far as suspending all other projects and after a couple of updates it started.

Got Collatz running on a 1080TI. Also PrimeGrid on a 2500k, and Asteroids and Milkyway on a Nvidia 710 (will return results but nothing to speak of). PrimeGrid is shutting down one of their subprojects (Generalized Cullen/Woodall Prime Search LLR (GCW)) in a year, and I want to make sure to get the Gold badge for it.

skylaar24 BOINC definitely weirds out sometimes. I feel it doesn't handle individual project communications internally all that well.

It's as if it gets confused....and then just sits there. LOL

already 9 min overdue .... and myself nothing else to do on 5am as checking what sprint project get selected ...

Update: scrap that, got lost in timezones ... today is my 25th. but 5am. Need to wait until 26th 5am to see a project. See , that happen if my brain try to work too early. Just not going to happen

guess no one saw what project it is yet? and here i was trying to be all on the ball and stuff

Please pardon my language, but what a damned bunch of amateurs....How hard is it to keep track of your own event, and pick a project well ahead of time!?!

It's getting pretty damn ridiculous now. Pissing me off to no end.

Well... be careful.. you start dissing on Sebatien's ability to admin and his whole team may show up to excuse the shortcomings with how much he alone has done for everyone, BOINC, and especially his team all by his lonesome. We should all be grateful that he has blessed us with these gifts and just keep our complaints to ourselves...............

Based on the text on the homepage, I think the project is:

MODULE CACHE DETAILS
:D

I feel with him ... and hope he find time before the sprint to recover the site and tell us the chosen one.

Maybe after whining about managing WUProp he decided to drop support for FB as well... lol
