Finished the main story in 39 hours at level 35 (easy mode). I’m trying to do some side quests now to hit level 40 then move to the hidden ones. I hope it has some new stuff to do because things are getting a little repetitive and boring. (yes this is not my type of games)
Nice game, first AC game I ever play and first action RPG I played since Skyrim, I think I’ll give The Witcher another try later.
Animus Control Panel for Assassin's Creed: Origins - Coming soon
This month marks the arrival of an all-new gameplay experience for our PC players. Check out below for what we have in store for you in April.
For the first time in an Assassin’s Creed game, players will be able to tweak some game parameters to create their own game experience, thanks to the Animus Control Panel for PC.

The Animus Control Panel will be deployed on PC later this month. Ever fancied having three animal companions? The Animus Control Panel is your go-to.
- 75 parameters within 11 categories
- Three pre-created presets available
- Presets created by players can be shared on a dedicated forum
- The Animus Control Panel is embedded in the Uplay Overlay
We will share more information about the Animus Control Panel and its dedicated forum closer to its release
Got bored really fast of being super powerful, especially after I beat almost all of the game anyways. Maybe I'll just have to do NG+ at some point instead.

North of 3 gigs patch... people are talking like this is probably the last one.
After a couple weeks of pretty steady play I won the game yesterday. I don't think it's quite as good as Black Flag (or potentially Brotherhood), but it's no worse than 2nd or 3rd on my list of best AC games.
I managed to hit level 40 and upgrade all of my base equipment (and at least 1 weapon of each class) all the way. My overall playtime was around 50'ish hours. While I only completed like 1/5 of the side quests in the game, there isn't much motivation to since your level caps at 40 without the DLC. I got all the perks I wanted, so it's not like those matter all that much.
I actually used the same weapon for like 95% of the game. It was a sword that puts enemies to sleep roughly every 3rd or 4th hit. I tried a bunch of others, but nothing else was even close. I just kept boosting it.
Anyone have an opinion on the DLC? Is it just more of the same or does it add anything particularly new and compelling? I killed all of the Phylakes and the Elephant Rider so I intentionally did all of the better optional missions.
How many hours does it take to get to level 40?
Hope you enjoy it! If you wish to grab the Season Pass, it is on sale for 55% off on GMG (making it around $17 I think) until Aug 2nd. https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/assassins-creed-origins-season-pass-pc/ . Comparing all of what's included (especially given the standard price of DLC Expansion 1 = $10 and DLC Expansion 2 = $20 , not counting the a 2 equipment packs, deluxe pack content, and 500 Helix credits allowing you to get those 3 map unlocks etc..), its certainly a nice bit of savings.
