What are you nerds playing this weekend?

I've been replaying Arkham Knight. I'd forgotten how good that game really is. The atmosphere, sound effects and overall immersion are great.

Been playing Elvenar and Forge of Empires along with squeezing in a bit of Fallout 3.

I'm also playing this but it's kinda a pita in that you always have to go to school and can rarely do what you want when you want, it feels very restricted for an RPG, you make 3 lockpicks and then you have to go to bed cuz they day is over, so annoying, you get home from a castle and have to go to sleep, can't go to the store to buy meds or anything.

Don't get me wrong, it also has it's strong points, but they do manage to get any sence of momentum killed like this.

Yeah, I'm feeling that crunch too. I don't remember feeling so constrained in Persona 4 - not sure if it's because there's more to do in your off time or what. I definitely agree with the lockpick criticism, I rarely find available time to create lockpicks.

I would be playing BF4, but for some reason I've been PB banned like so many others recently! Mudderfockers!

Currently on COD WWII and then likely start the download for FC5 or Kingdom Come- have not decided which yet. No rush to play either one - need to let the kinks work themselves out a bit.

Will be digging into some older games this weekend, going to be doing a xbox 360 lan party with some buddies from high school for nostaliga lol

Halo 2, left for dead, doom 3 and gears of war if we can find enough copies.

vermintide 2 : It has a steep as hell starting curve but I am loving it now, to the point where I want to install and play the first.

I been playing the heck out of Farcry 5. Really loving the game. Also playing ESO with friends when not playing FC 5.

Same here. Far Cry 5 is fucking great. Replaying Duke Nukem Forever when I get tired of FC 5.

I’m almost 5 years late to the party but I’ve been playing Crysis and thinking it’s hilarious how these enemies can take as many non-headshots as they do.

Fun game though even though it’s got a pretty generic game-play mechanic.

Prey and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Both great. Prey has some awesome elements and level design to it so far really enjoying that one. The last 3 Wolfenstein games are pretty fun story driven FPS games that are a blast to run through in a few days. I really liked Old Blood which I just finished. The New Colossus is just crazy.

Most likely will pick something random from my steam back log and might try to get into fortnite since my entire friends list is playing.

more wow, hiding from cultist killers and their dogs, bioshock on the Xbonex, some pubg or fortnite pretty bad at either but in fortnite I'm a whole new lvl of bad, and maybe some overwatch and I finally installed prey so if I find some time might give it a whirl.

I keep coming back to XCOM2, I just can't get myself to play anything else on a regular basis.

I am tempted to play it but keep reading it's pretty hard. Can you say how hard it is compared to the first one?

I've actually had some free time on my hands and have been replaying Mass Effect 3 with a ton of different mods.

I think I'll probably play Dark Souls 3 this weekend, haven't played it in about a year or so and kind of getting the gaming drought feeling. Been playing GTA:O the last 3 weekends, bored of it.

Hoping I actually have some time to play games this weekend. I've grabbed a few minutes here or there with MAME over the past couple of weeks, but no real gaming-time. I kind of want to get sucked into Chrono Trigger for a while or something like that. Still playing BotW a bit here and there, but not for the last couple of weeks. I installed Dark Souls III for another play, but haven't gotten to it yet. It's also about time for me to try out some of the updated content for Dead Cells. It's been quite a while since I played it last.

Cool. What are your favorite games on MAME ?
I'm not asking for a list - just a couple of you really like.

I'm a big fan of the R-Type series - and they're a good game to go back to, when you haven't played a horizontal shooter in a while.
Or a good vertically scrolling shooter like Flying Shark or the Raiden games.

Started Kingdom Come Deliverance. Started slow for me but the more I play it, the more I like it. I have not ventured too far off the beaten path yet. Just exploring looks like it could be a quest in and of itself.

Nice! Yeah I'm an Irem fan as well. R-Type, X-Multiply, Ninja Spirit, etc. When my brother and I get together we tend to drink a bit, then play things like Mappy. :D I also like some of the puzzlers like Money Puzzle Exchanger, Landmaker, Magical Drop. Then the usual fighters, Last Blade, Samurai Showdown, etc. My daughter and I played Mario Bros for a few hours the other day. That was fun. I hadn't played it for that long a stretch since I had it for my C64 as a kid.

Played a bit of Guwange the other day, but that game makes my hands hurt :D

Far Cry 5, although it's the first in the series that I skip cinematics because the story and characters are so fucking awful. The guns feel terrible, limp, boring, all really repetetive with no charcter. The progression system is almost useless compared to older games. I'll finish it, although it's really not that much fun.

God of War, only taking breaks to sleep and eat. I put in a lot of work over the past month to ensure that I have the next three days to myself, and I've already told the wife that the 20th-22nd belong to Kratos. Though, with my luck I'll have a client suddenly need a last-minute emergency fix to a project.

I relapsed into WoW.

Won't be seeing any Steam, 3DS or Switch games for a LONG time...

The news of the remaster for Dark Souls got me back in the mood for the series so I'm finally getting back to DS2 to try and finish up the DLC.

Been playing though the God Eater series in anticipation for Monster Hunter World.

Currently on God Eater 2 Rage Burst. Enjoying the story, but not sure how I feel about the gameplay; it's fun enough, but the enemy AI seems overly predictive for how weak it's displayed (still on chapter 3). It's looks sloppy/all over the place, but has pinpoint accuracy/reaction? Feeling conflicted, haha.

Probably start up FFXV when I've finished.

Civ 6: Rise and Fall.... I HATE how the contrast/colors change depending on what Age you're in.

Fallout: New Vegas.... I blame the recent trailer for New California.

PUBG.... because: reasons.

Going to give Deus ex mankind divided another try, left it after getting my augs back for some reason.

Also the new god of war on PS4 and some more wow and maybe the odd pubg or overwatch game.

I tried playing EVE online, but I keep getting oneshot in high sec, and my JF's out of jump fuel, so screw it. I'm playing a minesweeper drinking game.

Every time I find a mine, I take a shot.

I expect to be dead by morning.

Farcry 5. Finished the game today (Sunday). On to something else now.
