The FRAG Tickets on Sale for April Event

If you are missing that old school LAN party feel, Gearbox Software is pitching to make LAN parties great again with THE FRAG. Come join us on April 27th weekend. I will be there with our VR Arena setup so you can get some deathmatch action in VR. Below is a quick look from our test event in February that worked out very well. Also, we will be upping the ante this time with two VIVE PROs HMDs to game on. $45 for the weekend LAN at the Dr. Pepper Arena, and free to just stop by and take a look around.

I don't miss old school LAN parties .... because I host one every year for my birthday! My LAN happens to be this weekend. I have very excited!

What all games are usually played and are there any vendors at the event? Thinking about making the trip, not too far out for me, just a few hours .

It is really gamers choice in the LAN. Nothing is out of bounds. They have set up a server to cache Steam downloads and were working on a free licensing thing to play games you don't have. Not sure if that has been done yet or not.

The thing is that this event will happen multiple times a year.

Man, I do need to get away - being blown up, shot at, hurled over death crevices actually sounds enjoyable . . .

It's been like 10 years since I last went to a lan party. Part gaming, part pirating. I'm sure it hasn't changed since then, aside from needing an internet connection for games now.
