Looks cheap I guess? The one that is $52 says that the packaging is damaged. The $43 one says missing parts so I'd skip on that one unless you're adventurous. You could call the company and ask about a free replacement screw kit I suppose.

I have that model in red. It was on clearance for $112 @ Staples. I like it, but this is my first *gaming* chair. Arm rests flip up.

Great price, but from the looks comfort was not a priority.

10 years from now we are going to look back a these chairs like we do radioactive symbol fan covers, acrylic cases, and cathode lighting.

The features on nicer ones are nice...bigger wheels, seatbacks adjustable, armrests are adjustable...but ones like this one are just cheap normal office chairs with a more "racing" type style. For $50 I don't consider this a bargain.

In terms of looks, yes. Though like the old tech you mentioned, it may pave the way for what we see tomorrow. I for one would love a Recaro style computer chair. All black, of course.

You should try and sitting in a real recaro first. They arent designed to be comfortable, they were designed to keep you from moving. They are stiff and if you weigh more than a cheerleader, something is going to be sore after about 15 minutes of driving.

I agree, but having sat in Recaros, I prefer the being held feel more than the being on a cloud feel associated with lazyboys

I used to love cooshy soft office chairs until I tried one that was actually supportive. I use a steel case at work and they are very nice. At the end of an 8 hour shift, I feel fine. Its not something I would want to kick back and watch a movie in, but it supports everything that needs support very nicely.

My work bought them in bulk so I got a fat discount on one.

is this the version that will shoot the air canister up your ass so you die a slow and painful death?

The price is near $700 + .... for a God damn cheer !?! Holy Smokes!

The Herman Miller chairs I sit on at work are $1200. My home office has a mesh chair I purchased on sale from Office Depot for $200 and feels almost just as good to sit in.

I am also a fan of Herman Miller and would venture that the $200 office Depot chair would not withstand the same usage for the same amount of time. Commercial considerations are just different.

Well the lumbar support pad broke within 3 months of use on my new Herman Miller. But to be fair my $200 home office chair doesn't have one. :D
