Hello,

I am looking for a 32 monitor.
I am wondering if the 32GK850G screen is worth twice the price of the 32UD59?
The UD59 is 4k VA but only 60hz with freesync.
Still it is 330 euros.
The GK850 is 700 euros.
Ok that it is 165 hz, but it still has smearing and response time issues.
So I am wondering if it is really worth it?

Thoughts?
Cheers!

Depends on your use case really. For mixed workloads I would not recommend the 32ud59 though, have it at home and it produces visible artifacts while scrolling web pages so it's a really slow VA. If you already have an nvidia card and want gsync than the gk850 might be worth it, if not and 4k is not important you could reorient for q3277pqu or the philips/benq using the same panel. In case 4k is important, but you don't want smearing the lg 32ud89 might be the one (haven't seen it in action).

I am looking at mostly gaming.
If the panel is really that slow in response then it might be a no no.

Just got an open-box LG 32GK850G from Newegg for $623. Panel is perfect, all accessories came with it. In short, I gambled and I won for a change. It is one sexy monitor.
