Inland 240 GB MLC 3D V-NAND SATA 2.5" SSD $60 in-store

I bought one of these a month or so ago when I had an extra $5 off through retailmenot, so my cost was $55. I believe that coupon is back again. Anyone looking to pick this up, or anything >$30 from Microcenter, should hit up the site and get the $5 off coupon. Linky

The performance is good, considering the low cost. It is faster than several older SSDs I have in the house and would make for a solid upgrade in any PC with a mechanical boot drive. I'm waiting for a 512GB NVMe that I'll be swapping into my gaming PC, although that's not a criticism of this drive. Mostly I needed more space, I doubt I'm going to notice a performance difference. The Inland SSD is going to replace the boot drive (mechanical) in my daughter's computer.

Inland? As in, the brand behind the $5 mouse, $1 mouse pad, $2 outlet strips, etc you find on the checkout isles at Fry's Electronics?

Wow.... still, hard to argue at $50 for 250GB. Even if this thing lasted 6 months it would be a bargain.....

Shit yeah. Wish I had an MC nearby. One of these would be perfect for my laptop.

No shipping on the 250GB one, but the 512GB version for $99 is available for shipping... hard to beat that!
