20% off anything at Ebay, today only

I was thinking "Damn, that's some pricey RAM" - then I saw the speed on 'em. I have the Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 and they've been good.

I grabbed 32GB of DDR4 3200Mhz CL15 awhile back when eBay was doing a 8% eBay bucks promo along with the NVME SSD for my future Zen+ build. Was gonna change them out for CL14 but Newegg's eBay store ran out of them and the only other set was a guy selling it for $100 more than Newegg was.

I got some C14 3200 in my rig now, but have yet to ever run anything "faster" than 3200. Picked up the 3866 (C18) to play around with. I've been bitten by the mhz bug.

Only thing I snagged was an Onkyo Receiver since my old one just played out. $80 after rebate, not bad, lol.

I grabbed a UHD for Westworld and Mockingjay Part 2. Not huge savings on the latter(19 vs 25), but completes the series (the first 3 were $10 x2 and $13 at Fry's). Westworld was roughly $30.00 which was about 30% less than the cheapest price I found elsewhere.

Was going to pick up an EVGA GT1030 from Best Buy, total still came out to $97-$98 after sales tax. The sales tax was on the non discounted price. Decided to just pick up an Asus GT 1030 for $85 before sales tax from Micro Center next day.

I'm in the process of buying a house and am planning big things for my network. I already have a 42U cabinet ready to go so I wanted to pick up a core switch. I'm planning on running PoE cameras so I wanted something with PoE. I also wanted something I could lab with (need to renew my CCNA and want to continue going further) so I wanted something that had a decent amount of features. I decided to pick up a 3750X.

Those who know Cisco know that they moved to a universal image with licensing now so you cant just google and download the better firmware like you can with the old switches. I wanted to get the IP base firmware at the very least, and while looking I found a listing that appears to have the permanent IP services license upgrade. 48 port IP service switches start at $995, this one was listed for $520. 20% off would be $104 and since the coupon was good up to $100 I definitely got my moneys worth. So if on Thursday when this thing shows up and I have the IP services license I'm going to be stoked. $420 for this switch will be an absolute steal.

I got a new ssd for my 2014 MacBook Pro. The prices on those never budge since there’s only a couple manufacturers and it’s a somewhat unique socket. It arrived today. Really happy about the deal.

Yeah, my old NA was complaining about that.
I helped him grab some Dell 5XX boxes and build some virtual routers out of the commodity hardware.
We know enough fired guys that worked on UCS, or were UCS vendors, that the need to pay Cisco has really left a bad taste in many people's mouths around SF.

Just flood the job market with another 1x,xxx people, they seem to like doing it.

This was such a blessing. I normally only get one time a year to make any "big" purchases. Finally will be able to retire the dual 771 beast. Took delivery of my new Netgear ReadyNAS 2304. She's unboxed and ready rack up . Now to see if the memory is upgradable on this

Ebay must be hurting...they are offering 8% ebay bucks for all purchases for 3 days.

They are not hurting this is typical behavior for them, these kinda of promotions happen all the time.

Back to back weeks like this? I haven't seen ebay deals like this since the old bing cashback days. Either that or I'm not a big enough spender to get the e-mails.

20% off? Only seem one of those once (or something similar. Typically it is $10 off $50 or $15 off $75, or is restricted to a bunch of worthless stores with minor exceptions. This was site wide. I'd love to get another and and get a Nintendo Switch for $60 off. Or have one come up in April and try and get a new Ryzen CPU.

Slightly on topic, the ebay Dell store has 10% off until the 19th. Enter the code: PDELLSTORE

Max of $75 off. They have some SSDs and whatnot in stock, but probably not the greatest deal.

Another one today.... for a limited selection of stores though. https://www.ebay.com/rpp/6508?_trkparms=&clkid=2666919745702693404

Also, at least for me there is an 8% to 15% eBay bucks promo going on as well. The bucks promos are very targeted though and you must click the links in the messages that ebay sends you to activate the bonuses.

I just took advantage of today's 15% off (max $100 back) for items over $150, and 8% for under. Earned about $190 in ebay bucks, which I can use soon... picked up a nice old laptop for under $300--- better than my oldie that has a broken hinge, a superb Tamron 24-70 lens, a 512 gb samsung PM 951 for 188 less 15%, a 128 gb Sandisk Extreme Pro CF card.....much of that on 2 credit cards with zero interest for 15 months, and one with 1.5% cashback.... same goes for the Canon 5D IV direct from Canon for $2374, refurb with a 1 yr warranty--that's as good as new, which is $3200. Now I can shoot 4K video, and up my full frame imagery quality a bit from the old 5D III.

Nice! I just used the 20% off "PRETTYDAY" code to get a Kershaw Blur with SV30 for $64. I've been waiting for one of these to drop below $70 for months. :D

This site has brought some awesome deals to my attention lately. Time to up the Patreon payment I think...
