What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Finishing current playthrough of Fallout New Vegas right at the moment then I'll head back to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Wildlands to unlock Tier level weapons. In between I'll be continuing to develop my empire in Forge of Empires.

Did the Calus challenge last night in Destiny 2, man does it help to have a crackpot shadow realm squad.

I am playing through the campaigns in Starcraft Remastered, I love the nostalgia of it and the graphics are updated just enough to stay retro and be modern.

Also a bit of Transistor, For Honor, Warframe maybe...

Ghost Recon: Wildlands co-op for sure.

Super Mario Odyssey too.

Possibly will start SOMA now that there is a easier mode. Last time I played it, it was frustratingly difficult.

planning on doing Raw Data (free weekend). maybe some echo arena, and starting arkita.1.

also Yakuza Kiwami and maybe a multiplayer game.

im about to scoop up tekken/Blue Blaze and a fight stick to prep for Dragonball fighterz

Nice!

I like Tekken so far. It's got the overall feel that I remember from the T1-T2-T3 days (haven't played any of the middle ones because I haven't had a Sony console since the PS1). The characters are a bit over the top, compared to what they used to be like, but it's fun and the mechanics feel good. I play Street Fighter V and DOA 5 quite a bit, and it's different enough to fit right in with those. Three distinct styles of fighting. I picked up KoF 14 but didn't like how it felt at all, so I returned it. I don't do that often. There was nothing exactly wrong with it, but I guess I prefer Samurai Showdown and Last Blade series where SNK is concerned.

I've been thinking about getting an X-Arcade dual stick a bit lately. I used to design and build my own arcade setups, but I don't have as much time these days, and they seem to do things similarly. Which stick are you looking at?

Oh, CDKeys has a really good deal on Tekken right now. I think it's $24 or something like that. I got the deluxe version during the Steam winter sale for something like $37 I think.

Breath of the Wild, and maybe a touch of Tekken 7.

T7 is at least a little bit of a return to form after the excessive T6 and TTT games. It's still very heavy on memorization, but at least a botched low block rarely means you're eating a 2-minute, 40-hit, 80% damage combo with another mix-up at the end.

Mayflash f500 for 89.99.
If i actually get good ill look into higher quality sticks. I used to be balls deep in SFIV. Was aiming for EVO but wasnt THAT good. I plan on going balls deep in Dragonball though.

I'm thinking of picking up an arcade stick for SFV, and also for Gundam Versus on my PS4. Anyone got good recommendations?

SF5 has proven to be the most approachable Street Fighter since maybe Alpha 1. Tons of fresh faces are finishing high in tournaments. Hell, in watching most tournaments I don't see much that I can't/don't do personally. That definitely wasn't the case with SF3 or SF4. If there's ever been a Street Fighter to try to get good at, this is the one.

I'm going to finish up Outlast and then start up something new, probably Mad Max.

Anything that can keep me away from Witcher 3 and NS2 for a bit, those two games are like video crack.

the usual WoW, some swtor, pubg and more ME: Andromeda, not a bad game, just a bit much in the MMORPG style fetch quests with lot's of going back and forth.

Have finally completed Nioh and hit my weekly wall in Destiny. Moved on to the new South Park (which is incredibly "meh") and looking forward to Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition's launch today.

I know for a fact when it's like -11 "right now "or below I have no desire to play games even with a sweatshirt on and hot humidifier on.
Can't get myself to build up the juices to play Rise of the Tomb Raider

You need to play a Tomb Raider where she's in Tibet or CryoStasis or something, and then it will be truly immersive. :p

Uncharted: Lost Legacy
So far so good. For some reason I thought this game was set in the 1980s. I don't know why, guess that's the vibe that the trailers gave off. Plus the title also suggested it was set in the past, but apparently not. Well I hope that's the biggest fault I'll find with the game. Not that I'd consider that a fault, perhaps a fault of my expectations.

Been playing a lot of Onward (VR) and it’s supper addictive. It might be the VR element and the level of activity involved with the gameplay but it is just a blast to lose a few hours to that I haven’t gotten from most normal games that fit into that category (like CS:GO, CoD, etc..)

playing persona 5 on the ps4, quantum break and path of exile on the pc. Oh and ofc more wow.

Battallion 1944, been in the mood for an oldschool shooter, other then low server tic rates iv been pretty impressed with it.

Just finished Prey on PC 4K, an amazing experience. Now onto Beyond: Two Souls (PS4 remaster).

Been replaying GTA5. Forgot how long it actually is. It's shorter than San Andreas and 4, but not by a ton. I think there are fewer tedious missions cross-crossing the whole map so it feels shorter than it is.

I know I'm late to the party but I just recently picked up PUBG and I have been hooked on that lately. Its far from perfect but I try not to take it too seriously and its still a lot of fun.

Sword art online Fatal bullet
Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash
Final Fantasy XV windows
Cyberdimension Neptunia 4 goddesses online

Sea of Thieves was the most fun i've ever had playing a game with my friends. Can't wait to play more.

I actually picked it up this past weekend too. I play it on Xbox One X and boy does this game need polish. Massive frame-rate issues until you are on your feet on the ground, texture pop-in is horrendous and seemingly takes forever. I only played 3 rounds before I gave up. I will wait until the game isn't in "Game Preview" mode.

Anyone tried Hunt: Showdown

It looks really interesting to me, like PUBG, but a new twist, an extra angle, and much more interesting environment and the game engine is Crysis so It could be beautiful.

Yeah I heard is was a disaster on Xbox. Luckily I play on PC so things run a little better but it still needs some polish. The good news is with the popularity of Fortnite the Devs seem like they have some big plans to fix and improve the game in the coming months. Hopefully they can pull it off.
