Samsung 40" 4k UN40MU6300 tv $417 included $200 Walmart GC

Ah, yeah that makes sense... I wondered why tax looked so low. I ended up ordering 2 actually... we will see how they are.
I have a 55" UN55MU6500 (same as 6300 just curved) and I'm happy with it. The apps are fast, voice remote works well, speakers are decent. Not true HDR and may not be the brightest, but is great for bedroom

Using the 40MU6290 for work. Does good job with text, games are passable, albeit ghosting occurs which could be considered hardware enforced motion blur ;).

After having my 50" MU6070 since Christmas and comparing it closely with my previous JU6500, I would say skip this one if you want it for PC use. There is a noticeable difference in pixel response time versus the 2015 era JU6500, and not for the better. There is quite a bit more ghosting/smearing when working with text on the MU6xxx sets. However, they're still pretty stellar for media consumption and input lag times are great when the display is setup properly.

Yes, I'm aware I have a post on this very forum from early December singing the praises of this very display. I've had some time with it now and that opinion has changed somewhat.

About the only possible exception would be the 43" version of these sets which use an IPS panel. It's very possible that the IPS version has better pixel response than the VA panels on all of the other sizes.

Aside from using it exclusively with a PC, I'm not knocking it for general use. For $217 or whatever after gift card that's still a heck of a deal on a solid TV.
