That's a good deal if I hadn't have just bought the Corsair corded gaming mouse I would be all about it. what sucks is how the ecosystems work together now. I have a Corsair keyboard and mouse... but a different brand headset. I'm tempted to get a corsair headset so I can have one software program for all of them. But that's a different conversation.

I have the preRGB G502 and it's still my favorite mouse. Hard to beat the PWM3366. It's been around a few years now but is still one of the best optical sensors. You can fine-tune the sensor for different playing surfaces (using the LGS software). The shape took some getting used to, but I grew to love the thumbrest.

I played around with the Corsair M65 Pro for a little while but went back to this. M65's a great mouse but the scroll wheel on the 502 is superior and I missed that damn thumbrest...

Just note this is a "skinny" mouse. Great mouse, but I have large hands and could not use it for more than an hour or so before my hand would start to cramp up.

Good mouse, I have the Proteus Core and I really like the feel of it.

Awesome mouse just for the hyper scroll alone.
True, and if it was wireless I would buy it in a heartbeat.
visiting this thread is bad for my wallet, "The more you spend, the more you save!"

Made microcenter price match this, thank you. The G602 is also on sale for $39.99 for anyone wanting wireless.

Scored one of the G602's the other day at BB for the same money. So far it is awesome, might need another one for work.

Price is still good. Probably going down as my favorite mouse ever. Even beats out the MX512 I bought back in like 2002. I'll probably pick up one or two as backups. Im already on my 2nd.

The 602 is cheaper? Why does the 502 have better reviews? I have the non RGB version and it's a good mouse so I don't really need one, other than its blue and does not match my Red lighting theme..

They are just different mice. The 602 doesn't fit my hand at all, its too long for my claw grip and girly hands.

can the G buttons be used in AHK?
Cant they be mapped to some keyboard keys?
or are they locked to certain functionaly only avaible with the software ?
Can you turn the scroll whell into "click free" for fast scrolling ?

Logitech calls that click-free hyper-fast scrolling feature "Dual-Mode" on the G502 Proteus.
The G-Pro Gaming mouse does not have "dual mode" hyper-fast scrolling.
I love that feature and it is on my retired G9x, only drawback is the free-scroll switch is on the bottom of the mouse.
I know, first world problems.
