I would say it is a fair example. I've sold a few routers here (and elsewhere), they actually sell quickly most of the time. I've gotten PMs with offers (one today, in fact), so that isn't a problem.
So to recap -
Your opinion - Pull a number out of your ass, and let the community decide if it's too high, or take a hit if it is too low, when someone buys it.
My opinion - Gather as much information as possible to set a fair price that doesn't waste everyone's time.
I don't have any issue with that, and I agree folks can make up their own mind. However, you're the one that came here to disagree, rather than letting people make up their own minds.
1. Your example is pretty weak.
2. I never pull a number out of my ass. I know what I bought an item for, and how much I want for it. You can take your convoluted interpretation of how I do business and cram it up your bum. I've been very successful with the items I've sold here and elsewhere. Also, I've been doing it longer than you.
3. Yes, people can continue to make up their own minds despite of, or in light of my opinion. Don't like it? Stop using a forum. Do you know what a forum is?
