Steam Lunar New Year Sale

The Steam Lunar New Year sale started yesterday, and is offering some decent deals for the gamers here. Who cares if you backlog of games goes all the way to Daikatana when Left 4 Dead 2 is only $1.99!

To me the Steam Sales aren't what they used to be since they introduced refunds, but there are still some good deals to be had.

Now if Civ VI was $1.99 I'd be willing to try it, that's about all those cartoon graphics are worth IMHO. So has anyone found a must have item in this sale?

Well you missed out Civ 6 was $12 with DLC on Humble like a week or so ago. (In a bundle with other games no less)

I do enjoy the whinging over the old steam flash sales. In the end you waited until the last day to buy anything unless you were really hyped to stare at the shop window as it were. Sorry, I'll take refund options (like omg dood, this game is a buggy pos, refund pls) over chances at 8 hour "flash" sales. If you pay attention to Steam's weekly/weekend sales there are many games that show up for 50%+ off over the weekend. You actually have to pay attention more than during the old flash sales to get your hype factor on. That or you can just go to a casino and gamble. Or buy loot crates from EA.

That said, if you want a flash sale GoG is apparently doing them for their lunar sale this year.

I saw that, not cheap enough esp. since it didn't come with everything. Did I mention I really hate the new graphics style?

LoL and guest who made it that way blame europe how ever min developer where abuse the system by not fixing the game.

If it had not been for the mosquitoes in the Daikatana demo I might have bought it.

At the .97 price point, I might buy it and give it a try. If I play it for an hour, I'll have gotten my moneys worth out of it. I've read more "what went wrong" stories from that company that I care to admit, so it's only fitting I try out the end product. John Romero can make me his bitch (at least I think that's what the one print ad used to say)

What is this year of the elephant or something?

I have no desire to buy anything already have Pillars of Eternity 2 preordered my backlog is big took vacation for Kingdomcome Deliverance that game will take me months to play though.
Once a good game gets ya it's really hard to buy anything else.

That is my Wish List Insurgency is on their for Sandstorm since it's not listed yet Far Cry 5 would be on their but I have no idea what the reception of the game is going to be like. It looks good but how immersive is the game going to be beyond your typical shooter.

If you click on Rainbow 6 they have a live stream of some finals going on.
