Looking for something to do? How about trying out a game demo for free? You know, the damn way it should be. I have never heard of this game till this morning, but it looks like it might be worth a shot. It will be released on February 23rd if you find yourself in the mood to purchase it. "Past Cure is a dark psychological thriller that blurs the lines between dreams and reality. An intense, cinematic, story-driven experience that challenges the player to use mind-bending mental abilities to survive." This is a FAQ here about the demo.

Check out the video.

Sounds interesting. I'll bite.

Looking for a free game that will mess with your mind...Doki Doki Literature Club. It's an visual novel mostly but man does it go some places. Don't let the look fool you. And I won't lie, the first hour drags but the payoff was worth the experience for me.

Thanks Kyle! Downloading now also.

BTW. Are you going to do a review of Kingdom Come now that its out. I read Hilbert's this morning. Maybe waiting for those patches the dev's mentioned?

Runs fine, but holy shit the controls are mega fucked.

Backspace to go back a menu...

Space to accept...

No Mouse control in menus...

Nope, uninstalled.

meh...at first I was like this looks cool, maybe.....and then towards the end of the trailer, turns into a fat nope. The story becomes way too convoluted for it to flow well enough for me to enjoy it.

Kinda reminds me of that insomnia game where you made choices and the main character was this confused person who was being targeted by this serial killer with psychic powers. That started off awesome, and they got really wierd with the magic, and cult....blah blah...

Runs well. This guy did not like me taking his picture.

Yeah what a freaking bizarre way of having to navigate the menu. And the game for some reason will use the Oculus Rift for audio if you have one of those headsets plugged in which makes no sense at all. The dev said that that will be fixed in the final release but I can't figure out why it even starts up Oculus and uses its audio in the first place as I've never seen that in any other game.

Had the instructions not been on the screen, I would have been screwed. Nothing close to anything intuitive.

I agree. The 5 minutes or so I had to test and configure before running out the door I thought maybe I'd come back and turn the controller on for other support. Really weird settings. Unreal looks good as it should, but still weird.

You talking about Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy made by Quantic Dreams?
