I'm not sure where to put this since it's not quite a laptop/PC and it's more than a tablet but does anyone have any recommendations for games that run well on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4? Are there any good games that run well on an SP4, particularly via touch-screen? I do also have a wireless keyboard that has a laptop-style touch pad on it. It's running Windows 10 and I am open to all genres.

Only thing I've run on my SP4 is WOW and it ran excellent with a mixture of Medium and High settings at the screen's native resolution. I used the type cover and a mouse to play it.

A puzzle game that just came out last week that I love, Samsara, available on both Steam and the Microsoft Store, works perfectly with touch, $15.

Should qualify that my SP4 has the i5-6300U, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.

Stardew Valley
Factorio
Rimworld

That's like 200 hours of your life between those 3 games, easily.

I've had a Surface Pro 1st gen for a couple years. Civilization V is the only game I really play on it and it works very well. I only use the device itself, touch controls are great.

I just got Civ 6 recently so I haven't tried it yet but it wouldn't surprise me if it was just as good of an experience though.

Hidden Folks. It's on Steam. Kind of like a Where's Waldo, but is very fun. Works on my Dell 2 in 1 no problem.

Good recommendations so far. Looks like I already have Factorio, Civ 3 & 4 and SpaceChem in my library. I think I'll add Civ 5, HackNet, Hidden Folks and Rimworld to my library.

I may have to check out hacknet too.

Also Terraria is good for life wasting.

I LITERALLY was just telling my co-worker about this game yesterday because he mentioned Goat Simulator, lol.

OP, if you like South Park I loaded The Stick of Truth to my laptop with integrated graphics and it ran perfectly. You could try that.

Should be able to handle They are Billions, until you throw it though the Fn wall when they continually breach your walls.

If you like city-builders, try Banished. I already had it in my Steam library and loaded it up today on the SP4. I burned 90 minutes at the office without realizing it. The game is quite in-depth and the graphics are pretty damn good yet somehow the game is only 276 MB!
