So you might remember our last outing with the Corsair T1 Race Gaming Chair. When we went to get in it, we realized that it was in no way built for someone my size. Enter the new Corsair T2 Fat Boy Road Warrior Gaming Chair! Built with a wider seat and seat back for Fat Boys Road Warriors. In all seriousness, I could not get my back against the T1 chair as there was not simply room for my shoulders or my lats. However, my 15YO daughter loves the T1. We have the T2 in the office now and will be getting it put together soon. It is already for sale at Amazon for $385.

Check out the video.

All right, Kyle. When you're right, you're right. Now I am hooked.

Can't find that chair on amazon

Hmm I eagerly await your review. I'm about to start a new job working from home in my office. My chair sucks, has no support and definitely needs to be replaced. I'm a fan of corsair products, and it looks like this could be good.

It definitely looks like a car seat, but I've always thought car seats provided the most support and were quite comfy on long trips, since that's what they were made for, surprised there haven't been more desk chairs designed after them.

So pretty much your just paying for that Corsair logo. Should cost half as much.

They need to make replaceable seat covers for chairs like this. So you don't have to look at a white spot in the middle of the seat in 2 years.

Except... these chairs look like car seats, they aren't adjustable or built like car seats.

THIS is something I'd like to see in an office chair

none of these "racing chairs" come close to a properly adjustable office chair, and are a joke compared to a nice luxury car seat to be sat in for hours at a time.

Just roll your own like this guy https://hardforum.com/threads/car-seat-as-a-chair-audi-a8-seat.1932965/

I reckon someone would have some success with a kickstarter to sell them.

I've been tempted, although I have zero confidence in my own personal ability to fabricate a base for it.

As far as a kickstarter, I think all you'd really need is to make a base and then some slidable adapter plates. The real issue with that is actually buying a luxury car seat in decent shape can be like $400+ easy. When these "racing chairs" sell like hotcakes for $200-300, knowing that there's far better office chairs out there I doubt such a product would really sell very well though.

What is this new fad that computer seats now made to look like cheap sports car seats? I want something that looks normal in a living room, not something that only works in jimmy's gaming dungeon.

Fortunately, there's a lot of chairs that look fine. The cheap car seat trend is definitely silly... but you've got options. There's no harm in jimmy's gaming dungeon having a race car chair to match the race car bed he used to have, I just only find it odd how these get marketed as the chairs for "gamers".

Got a Full Polished Aluminium Remastered (new version) Aeron last month, hoping that will do for at least a decade.

This might be the chair I've been looking for .... but almost $400 is a tough pill to swallow.

400 bones is hard...and my computer room has a carpet, negating the cool wheels. But I'm such a Corsair junkie, I might spend the extra cash so long as Kyle doesn't ass smash his in his review...

This one has been my fave of all reviewed so far.

i bought a friend a noble chair epic they liked it but I'm not really sold on the boy racer style chairs, not sure if I like this corsair one ...not sure who makes it for them . I am interested in that ergo human pursuit chair Kyle had though :)

How much better is it than a DX racer?
