id describe it as a mix of age of empires and stronghold but with zombies. the base building is in tiers and pretty rewarding and the enemies come at you in waves every 15 days or so. keep in mind that its early access.I've been eyeing it. I would like to see a more in depth Zombie strategy game. Maybe starting with you leading a small group through the initial outbreak. Do you go to costco or do you go to the mall etc. Ya know doing all the smart things everyone bitches about them not doing in the movies or tv shows. Then you start to rebuild society and reclaiming land, eventually coming across others doing the same. They Are Billions isn't quite that but does look good.
Expand as quickly as you can, you need a lot of resources to build the units and defenses to defeat later waves and you will usually find choke points near the edges of the map.
i completely agree haha (havent won yet)I have a love/hate relationship with this game.
Its seems the key is to tech to the artillery guy as fast as you can and to have at least 2 layer's of walls and lots of snipers and a few of the fire guys for breeches. I yet to get past the final wave though. One layer allways falls and then i have a base full of zombies.i completely agree haha (havent won yet)
destroy houses when they breach. so they dont multiplicate. 20-30 snipers early to stem waves and clear the map. clearing the map is apparently the biggest factor to actually winning. Its seems the key is to tech to the artillery guy as fast as you can and to have at least 2 layer's of walls and lots of snipers and a few of the fire guys for breeches. Think its the woodwork shop. Just build a lot of them they are op vs other uintsWhere do you earn the sniper? I seen it available though a Mayor once.
yeah, research in wood workshop. they are very slow but once they rank up they are good for clearing the map and towns. just be careful with spitters.Think its the woodwork shop. Just build a lot of them they are op vs other uints
They should let you rebuild/move the cmd center as some map starts suck and others are amazingI'm so upset with myself. Last night I started a new map and was blessed with my command center basically being in a corridor with only exits to the north and south. Almost directly against the south exit was a doom village so I quickly walled that side off and started pushing out north. Out of the north side the map basically opened into a rectangle, the left side I was able to block off easily. I cleared out the right side and further north with some rangers and had them fall back. Apparently they were just far enough away from the edge of the rectangle for a zombie to sneak down the right side and get to in of my hunting cottages, then my sawmill. They were almost all the way through my sawmill before my rangers showed up and by then it was too late. Since I didn't have much space (because of the corridor) I had tents right there. It would have been a super easy win since I would have only had two directions to block off in the end.
I started another map, currently around day 30, and it's going well. I'll finish it tonight and hopefully it will be a winner.

That's the issue with this game IMO. Whether you are successful depends on the random initial spawning on the map. Tight quarters and limited resources = doom.
Not when you have a lake to the north, a doom village to the west, a doom village to the east, and not a lot of room to the south. I really enjoy the game, but some additional options for map generation would really help.I use to think the same thing but if you really expand quickly, placing teslas ect, you should be able to find plenty of resources.

I have lost the last 8 games in a row on the second map due to only having enough trees for one woodmill and the next group of trees being next to doom villages. Well, that and having room for just 1 or 2 farms, enough water nearby for 1 or 2 fishermen before getting too close to said doom villages. There is exactly zero fun in having to restart a map 8 times due to that shit.
