Inspectre:Meltdown & Sprectre check tool!

tried everything but inspectre tool only says os is aware of spectre but no awareness of meltdown. The x86 patch for windows 8.1 did install without error notification but somehow the meldown part is disabled in the os. both buttons are greyed out....
 
Unless you are watching some weird porn or downloading from sketchy places. I wouldn't worry to much.

Yeah, nope. Javascript is everywhere, the cancer of the internet doesn't discriminate. Fortunately the only two mainstream browsers that normal people use have patches that cover this. Patch those, skip the OS stuff for awhile.

Random fun fact: Porn sites have become safer than news sites.
Random free advice: stay the fuck away from car/truck/etc forums lol.

lol, funny thing is, my old g-mail account got hacked and stole my netflix for a few days because of some breach on a saltwater fish tank forum I will not mention.
 
Well i just installed patch on a Z2760 windows 8.1 tablet and meltdown protection works however the inspectre tool buttons to enable and disable are greyed out. I don't think Intel even bothered to test the atom chip probably just threw them in the list....
