My Laptop Specs

ASUS ROG G752VT-DH74 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 6700HQ (2.60 GHz) 24 GB Memory 1 TB HDD 256 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 6 GB GDDR5 17.3" Windows 10 Home 64-bit

I bought it roughly 2 years ago. Not to long ago, my laptop has been having trouble starting up. It used to boot up superfast and it still does 85% of the time. Yet sometimes it takes a long time to boot up where I might have to hold the power button down to restart it. Also for the firs time, while I was watching HULU it cut off and a screen popped up saying it needed to restart after a system diagnostics. Any thoughts on what might be causing this. I run virus software and spyware consistently, I run disk defrags and disk clean up often to. Also I am care not to go to strange websites. Mostly I do school work, facebook, programming, gaming and Netflix and HULU on my laptop. That is mostly it.

Anything in the event viewer?
Control panel -> admin tools -> event viewer .. see if anything is wonky coming up with big ol' red errors.

Have you done an error check on the HD? Right click -> properties -> tools -> error check.

Check the hard drive health..
Right click windows button -> disk management or in the 'run' type in 'diskmgmt.msc'.
