Yes the steps are pretty accurate. You can run into limitations unless you use a KMS key on corp network or you purchase a key in some way.

You can also buy keys online for really cheap. I've got Win 10 keys for as low as $15 before, and they are still working.

I got all my Windows 10 for free due to participating to the open beta. Every beta activated to full pro with no cost even though I had no existing previous OS installed.

This is the only real good thing I can think of about Win10
