What is the quality of MagicForce mechanical keyboard?

They're decent keyboards. I had one for a couple weeks and gave it to my sister. I think I paid $45 for it.

My Ducky One tenkeyless and Vortex Vibe mech boards each cost over $100. You can tell the difference in build quality compared to the Magicforce.

I heard Magic Force is not really using mechancial cherry MX key technology, but it's something similar?

That's right. They use Gateron switches. Probably less expensive than Cherry MX. Some find the Gaterons to be a bit smoother than Cherries. They feel about the same to me.

Been using mine for over a year without issue.

Wrote a thesis on it, game on it... so far so good.

Chapeau, do you also feel their key is the same as Cherry MX?

I don't own a keyboard with the MX switches anymore - it has been far too long for me to accurately say.

I'd say probably not. If I were being picked I'd say there is a little too much key wobble compared to MX. But also the magicforce comes with a wide variation of MX clone switches (Tactile, linear etc.) - I'm not sure a direct comparison is possible.

There's three types of Magicforce boards: Gateron switches, actual Cherry switches, and cheaper Kaihl switches. I personally prefer Gateron over Cherry, but it's very, very close.

That being said, the MagicForce is a budget favorite over at reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards

this is the reason I started this thread

Man, those keycaps look horrific. You can get the normal looking capped board cheaper on Amazon:
