Dell S2716DG, 27" 2560x1440 144hz 1ms "G-Sync Gen II", DP+HDMI

If the pixel density is good on a small monitor 4k is no big deal I'm on a 4k laptop but 13" screen when HDR is included in all monitors that might be worth it.

Nice price :) I'm waiting for those 35" 1440p ultra wide HDR displays with 144Hz+ but for now Dell is good for my dedicated gaming rig.

I'm still using mine and still love it, came from another Dell 27" 1440p IPS monitor, the TN panel does look washed out from factory but adjusting the gamma and digital color via control panel helps tremendously. The buttery smooth framerate and deeps blacks compared to IPS glow is a no brainer for me

Thinking of trying the s2716dgr for use cases of working with text and gaming. Any major complaints about these monitors such as backlight bleed, edge bleed, general functional wonkiness?

IPS is backlight eye rape for me. VA is considerably more comfortable in that respect, but I want better sharpness for text. I don't care that much about color accuracy and viewing angles.

Does Dell have a 4k version of this monitor at 27"-28" size? I think the DPI of 4k would be more ideal for me for text editing and web, even though I would most likely game at 1080 resolution. If not, 2560x1440 is ok, as long as sharpness is good.
