Okay It seems after some more testing that setting my backlight ( brightness ) from 20% to 50% removes these lines. Although that introduces a high pitched sound, nothing major but it doesn't seem right. Im going to assume at this point my screen is basically faulty or has just one of the many issues this panel has. Thanks for the input.

I have a Benq BL3200PT.
The screen is touted as an 'eye care' monitor and all the marketing blurb suggests it's flicker free.
On high contrast scenes or night mode viewing ( such as a black background with white text ) i get some persistent lines in front of my eyes, actually on grey forums like [H]ardforum it's just as bad. Is this a side effect of PWM ? Are there any screens where PWM doesn't occur at all ?
