Pursuit Ergonomic Chair Unboxing and Build

This time we are going to be reviewing an office chair that might not be on the "gaming" chair radar. The looks and price of the chair grabbed my attention so we reached out to TheHumanSolution.com folks and they sent one over for review. Priced at $330, this looks like it might be a chair that holds a lot of value.

I have the same exact chair. I had it for around 2 1/2 months.

I sold my 2nd hand Aeron and bought this.

The box itself is fairly big but that was because most of the parts already come pre-assembled. All you have to do is to snap the seat to the base and you are done.

Adjustments are very straightforward for the back panel and the headrest. The armrest is fairly adjustable too, you can move up and down and move the armrest direction inward or outward.

I actually enjoy this chair more than Aeron but my Aeron was bought 2nd hand and it is about 15 years old when I got it. Also seating experience is subjective so miles may vary.

What I like about this chair most is the lumbar support and the headrest. The seat is okay, I wish it has a bit more cushion. I seat about 8 hours a day for work.

If you decide to purchase this chair, look around for coupon. You can get it a bit cheaper than the MSRP.

That looks pretty awesome, you taller guys may not notice the front of the seat pitch that much when you rock back. So, I would be really interested in how the idea of the hinge in the front works vs, the middle of the chair as you use it.

Like all the adjustments, arms could be a bit longer or have motion forward, but I like the placement a lot better. These are appear tighter to the back of the chair, vs hanging in the middle like the others. Will be keeping my eye on this for your final review.

I have looked at this chair in the past but couldn't justify it for how little I would use it. I work remotely now and spend all day in my home office. I will be very interested in your conclusion.

Nice vid Kyle. I look forward to seeing how this one holds up. My $100 amazon office chair is 3 years old now and the butt padding is fading fast. I used to do long stretches but now after 2-3 hours my ass is killing me. Might be time to spend some real money. I HATE the "ergo" chairs at work though, wish I could sit in this one somewhere.

Nice to see you testing out a real chair and not some terrible "gamer" chair. Interested to see the final review as I am in the market for a new chair. I have mainly been looking at refurb steelcase leaps.

Looking forward to the review. I need to get a new chair in my office and I'm glad that it's not a "Gaming" chair.

Looks nice, definitely glad to see you're reviewing something other than the (imo) ridiculous looking gamer chairs. I'm too damn old to sit in something that looks like an aftermarket "racing" seat made for a civic.

I've watched the video now 3 times and bookmarked the product page. I hope it works out, I am in desperate need. My back can no longer tolerate the disposable $100 office chairs that feel good for about 4-6 months then just suck.

Nice. I'm curious to find out how a taller guy fits in this chair. I'm only 6'4, but finding a comfortable office chair at a half decent price is proving difficult. I really want a decent headrest, as I suffer from neckpain after a day in the office, but I'm lucky if most headrest hit my neck, let alone support my head.

This Pursuit chair is the easiest chair I have ever had when it comes to moving around my office with hardwood floors. It just glides, pushes off with ease. I am finding myself having to be careful not to overshoot and ram into things.

I'm buying myself this for my 30th birthday.. :(

I have this chair. I think I got it for $280 with a coupon code. I like all the adjustable options it has and is very comfortable to sit in once you get it dialed in. The only thing I do not like are the arm pad rests. They need some type of cushion as my elbow gets irritated if I lean on it too much. That said, the website does sell arm pads that go over them. I just haven't gotten around to buying them yet.

How long have you had it? How's the butt cushion? And how much do you weigh ballpark? Not judging, need raw data.

I've had it for about 4 months. I'm 6'1" 180lbs of pure steel. I love the butt cushion, I've never felt fatigued sitting in it all day, just have issues with the arm rests. One of the coolest features of the chair is being able to adjust the tension when you want to lean all the way back with your feet off the ground. When I first got the chair I set it up in the living room and watched a movie leaned all the way back while my wife sat on the couch. She said I looked stupid :)

But how does it feel when you're naked?????
Why don't chair reviews ever cover that?

Update??? The butt cushion in my chair is totally gone and I am sitting on a folded throw blanket. New chair time after I wrap up Xmas.

Exactly same as my experience with the butt cushion.

Everything else about the chair is great for me except the butt cushion. Height is not an issue for me. I am about 5 feet 9 1/2.
Well, not height, but the depth of the seat front to back is a bit short for me.

any further impressions to share? I was looking at this chair but noticed it does look a bit short on the seat part like it end mid thigh where others cover almost to the knee bend. looks nice though :)

I need to get this review written, it is time.
