What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Titan Quest

Funny enough, I still have that game. Actually have a box of old games that I found while moving. Almost enough to cover the walls of a 10'x10' room with the cases.
Those days are over. All digital now.

I'm playing Fortnite and Overwatch right now.
If anyone wants to group up in either game, shoot me a message!
Only a borderline gold/platinum noob so don't expect a diamond or grand master player.

Well, I am finally playing through the Dark Space trilogy. Never beat any of them. Last weekend I beat Dead Space and this week I will play Dead Space 2. I started Dead Space 2 about 2 days ago and honestly it just felt like more of the same, but I will try to get through it.

Also, I just bought a Nintendo Switch yesterday so i'll be playing Super Mario Odyssey a little bit as well.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, put like 20 hours in last weekend, intend to do the same this weekend.

Halo:MCC on the 1X. I had reach back from a GWG month and never really played that, but I played and finished that last week. I wanted to pick up MCC to
1.) Become more acclimated to the controller
2.) See if the 4k H3 was a noticeable improvement.
3.) Become more acclimated to the controller.
4.) Learn the Halo story line
5.) Become more acclimated to the controller.

I'm getting better, I think by the time I get to Halo 2 I should be good with stepping away from the mouse and keyboard.

And it's fun so far to see the story unfold.

Borderlands 2, third attempt at it. This is one tedious, repetitive, shallow and drawn out game. Been using the same 3-5 weapons for the past 7 hours because nothing better can be bought or found. Dozens upon dozens of fetch quests which make you go back to the same areas to deal with the same respawning camps over and over again. I wish you could skip them and do the story missions but if you try that you will be out leveled to the point it is almost futile. And your player progresses at a snails pace to. Which makes the long fetch quests just feel that much worse. The same constant sound bytes playing over and over, the same weapons, holding down the trigger with no alternative play styles...

Stuttering still present enough though I am now on a Ryzen, 16GB of DDR4, SSD, GTX 1070... pathetic.

I just wanted to finish the story missions but I don't think that will be possible. If a game suffered from being oversized, BL2 is it. 17 hours in and it feels like it was 7 hours too long as is, and I hardly scratched the surface in terms of content.

Still punching through Ass Creed.
Put in some time in Forza 7 as well.

Gaming bliss I tell you.

Wife is addicted to d2 crucible

My daughter decided she wanted to replay Skyward Sword this weekend, and since I'm the designated "Get me past this difficult spot, or beat this boss for me"-guy that means I played it too. :D Still, she managed to beat two bosses, and I only had to do one this time. I'd say we're about a third of the way through the game if not a bit more. It reaffirmed that despite not being a very popular Zelda game, I really like it. There are a few things I don't like about it, playing the harp is clumsy as hell for example, but otherwise it's a really solid game.

I used to be in that position with my wife. Those were the fun days of just sitting on the couch watching her play shit and watching her fail a few times. I grab the controller and she genuinely had a look of amazement in her eyes when I 1 shot a boss... Those days and that look are long gone. The look I get now is "get on the spare computer now and lets completely own everyone in pvp" Im excited to get those looks of amazement with my 4 and 6 YO boys though... Actually, im more excited to see my wife pick up the controller and 1 shot a boss. My wife is a badass

Was hot and excited for Destiny 2 after waiting for years (refuse to play FPS on consoles), but wife and I are already burned out on it (and upset at Bungie's shenanigans).

We picked up Dying Light: The Following on sale and though we both hate zombies/zombie themes, this is turning out to be a pretty fun game in coop. Sort of like Far Cry meets Borderlands meets Mirror's Edge.

Hoping Anthem isn't a complete turd.

I remember having my nephew a few years ago play some old school games(NES/SNES/Genesis) and he would play for a minute or 2 and just straight up ask me to play for him, he would do it all the time. The moment I stopped watching him playing the game he instantly lost interest in playing it and would shut off the game. Drove me nuts!

Just started playing Wolfenstein The new order for the first time. Man this game feels oldschool. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It plays like shooters from 20 years ago It's a throwback for sure. And honestly after all the praise I heard about it I might have set my expectations too high.

Keep going. It starts off pretty typical, and then gets really good the further you go. Hopefully you'll agree. IMO it's an excellent game.

Been a little bored so I've been running through all the CoD PC campaigns on veteran. So far I've completed the new WWII, World at War, MW1,2,3, Black Ops 1, 2, Ghosts, and working through Advanced Warfare now. MW1 was by far the hardest so far, with a few insanely hard levels that took many many tries.

Also just installed Far Cry 3 on PC.... haven't played it since it first game out years ago on PS3 or 4 whichever it was. It is soooo good on PC.... I'm having a blast with it and I'm running it with everything on High/Ultra. Looks amazing still and runs great.

Yeah it's a pretty good game, if only I could forget the stupid forced hunt for specific animal to get carrying capicity for ammo and weapons. I never could find a single mountain goat in it to extend weapon carrying capacity I finished the entire game on realistic with one weapon.

Lol.... that is ridiculous. The Goats are one of the easiest to find hahaha oh man. I always get that shit out of the way in the very beginning and craft everything up to its 3rd level before I am even a few missions in. I like the concept but it could have been done a little better/differently.

Through my entire play trough I saw maybe one. And you need three or whatever to increase the weapon capacity to two. I'm not making it up. After I wasted 20 minutes running up and down the mountain where the map has the goat icon I just gave up and finished the game without it.

Grim Dawn.

Also really trying to buckle down and invest some time in Original Sin II.

The new Destiny 2 content, Nioh on the PC, and maybe I'll finally get back around to playing Outlast 2.

Destiny 2 and maybe some BF1. Also cleaning out a multi-pack of San Adams I don’t particularly care for. It’s a tough job but someone’s gotta do it.

ME Andromeda, liking it so far even though some quest markers seem a bit of and some random slowdowns, especially in cinematics, also playing some swtor and the odd pubg match.

Rise of the Tomb Raider also played one round of COD WWII and Gears of War 4 last week.

Mad Max.
Got it on sale from Steam.
Don't know now I missed this one.
Very good open world drive around and kill things game.

Yeah, I'm still playing Mad Max. About 30 hours in. The game is great, but I think I have to just stick to the story and beat it.

On the MMO thing still. Trying out Swtor....dated but like ok I guess. kinda stripped of features on the f2p model really need to sub or purchase some stuff. ESO has became boring and like no real Endgame and again gotta pay for more content, that really wasn't "there" to begin with much. And that game had to wait allllll the way to a more Endgame Dungeon that had a Boss that remotely had a little more interesting of a Mechanic that can actually kill you....WoW Probably still wins, about the only one that HAD steady content and real toon Progression, and real mechanics. Man the DnD Theme though is what kinda grew old too though, so it's thinking something different?

Played through Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Friday evening, Saturday, and in the morning today. Started playing Mankind Divided this evening, so far I'm liking it, not sure why it has "mixed" reviews on Steam.
