How big is your Gaming screen?

3 LG 22" 1080p 2ms iv had them for 9 years now and they just wont die haha, im going to be upgrading to a 4K monitor once they mature

B6P here; LGs OLED lineup is solid for PC/gaming purposes, unlike most TVs out there.
Are you experiencing any burnin issues? The test Rtings is currently running does not look promising, even though it would be outside the normal usage scenario. However, people in the comments are still pointing out burnin on their own units after a relatively short amount of time with normal usage.

With the C6P I honestly have not even noticed image retention in the slightest. I do have pixel shift on, but coming from using plasmas with the same option since 2003, I would see image retention in minutes on one and maybe after 30 minutes on my last plasma. Never burn in.

I'm pretty conscientious of taking care of the displays, but played hours of Cities Skylines recently hardly switching things up without issue.

Plasma burn in was completely overblown imo, OLED seems even more so. If you're using it for lots of MS office type work, don't get one. Games and movies, you're foolish not to if it's affordable.

Burn in while certainly possible, pretty much comes down to user error.

I've actually noticed some burn in on the B7A after some fairly heavy usage on the first day (had it on for about 16 hours straight - that's how much I was in awe with the TV). The C7P does seem to have less image retention then the B series though, at least according to rtings. Regardless, I love this TV so far. Can't wait to try out some 4K PC gaming on it this weekend.

Burn in on the first day? That's rough if you permanently damaged the display.

I just did it out of habit, but at least broke the display in for a few hours of full screen dynamic images. Probably not best to immediately start with static HUDs and max brightness out of the box.

I was playing around with the menu quite a bit and it did go away after a while. Haven't noticed anything since then.

Ok that's just temporary image retention, goes away on its own or running the clear noise tool. Leave what's causing your IR on too long, and it becomes burn in or permanent IR.

Will look the same, but you can't get it to go away. Wife did that to one of her phones, permanently had a games' layout visible. Hence why I have an LCD in the living room and my TV is OLED.

All 1080 in my house. I prefer speed and cranked up image settings over resolution. (without buying more than the upper-mid level card for the generation (1070 right now for example)) I game primarily at my desk for M+KB games. 47" wall mounted TV behind my desk. Living room is 65" and where I play games that I like to play on gamepads, plus emulators, Nintendo consoles, etc. I also have a few 23" / 24" monitors in other parts of my computer / work room, then I also play PC games via Shield TV from my bed on 50" TV. There are other rooms with various PCs and consoles, but I don't use them much.

24" BenQ monitor for PC and a 46" LED LG TV for console. If I had a bigger monitor it would be too big, I would have to move it further back on my desk so the 24" is just fine.

Nope. Not even a slight indication of image retention. Been about six months or so with no obvious issues, at least once LG fixed several HDR/4k related firmware problems.

Also, these ppl with burn in on OLED, I don't think one was using the splash screen saver. A minute or so after pausing it comes on to an all black screen with a fireworks display. My mother has the 65" E7 2016 since 09/2016 and still has no issue with IR after watching 8-10 hrs a day. (she is immobile)

60 inch Panasonic plasma. Nothing else comes in black levels and overall image quality except 4K OLED. There is a bit of latency but I deal.

Got the new update?? Set input name to PC. Set to Technicolor if it doesn't automatically. Drops the lag nicely.

43 inch Samsung 4K TV on my PC. (Um43MU9290FXZA) I also have a Sony Bravia 50 inch TV from 2013 that I have no desire of replacing.

For my PC, I'm using the a S2716DG. For my PS4 Pro, I have a 65" Sony A1E OLED.

This is for a Panasonic Plasma? I don't know if I've updated in awhile. I have one of the last ones myself, a 65" VT60. My gaming PC is only involved with it when I use an extra doing HTPC duties as a Stream streamer, so maybe I'm already adding some latency, but any bit helps and I can always run a HDMI one day. I'm kind of in the boat of the guy you quoted. TV is just too good so it's kind of 70" OLED or bust for me.

Got my parents a VT60 as their main TV; local PC Richards was selling it for $999 (due to Plasma's being dead at that point). What a steal. Excellent TV.

Gaming on my Vizio 70", but I have an old Sony Bravia 46" as a backup/secondary.

I was using a Samsung 28" 4k UHD but it died a couple of years back and it'll cost me $150 to get it fixed. Currently I'm running a Viewsonic 24" 1080p which is fine. For now.

100" Using a Sony vpl-hw65es at 1080p.

5+ year old 28" 1920x1200
before that 19" mitsubishi diamondtron 1600x1200 (still works just in closet now)

A couple year old 50" Vizio 4k smart TV flanked by two 10 year old 24" 1920x1200 Acer monitors.

Im honestly expecting the Acer monitors to go any day, but they show now signs of their age - No dimming, flickering, color issues. And I've used them quite heavily over the years I've had them. Truly the best $800 (At the time, still blows my mind I paid that much for them both - well, a little less, they were like $379 each or someshit) I've ever spent.

1920x1200 on a 24", i need to pass this setup down to my kids so i can upgrade dammit

34" 3440x1440 (Asus PG348Q)

I had a Dell 3008WFP prior to that and when i upgraded i had two criteria. Higher resolution than 2560x1600 and higher refresh rate than 60Hz. The current crop of ultrawides were the only displays that met that at the time.

What size screen do you use for gaming?

_

As for myself ... still chugging along at 1920x1200 on a 42" Panasonic plasma.

Same its the ideal size where most decent grphics cards can keep up and run things at ultra... so you dont have to buy the latest xXx TitaN xXx Sepir0th xXx Limited edition for $8000+
